jeff: all day, the arlington police were speaking with the witnesses canvassing the area around the atrium condo complex in testimony rosslyn section of -- complex in the rosslyn section of arlington. they released video of the man they are looking for. the suspect gets on the elevator at 9:47 sunday. right after police believe he committed the sexual assaults. he appears nervous, pacing, repeatedly pressing a button, looking around. something causes him to hold the head in distress. they believe this was the moment he saw the police cars pull up to the scene. >> we are concerned with the fact this was a brazen crime. >> ashley says the detectives think the man entered the atrium condo complex, to arrive at the front door or garage and was likely let in by a friendly resident holding the door walking in or out. police say the man was knocking on the front doors of the condos claiming to be a maintenance worker. some residents got suspicious and called the front desk

one woman in her 50's did open her door at which point the police say the suspect forced his way inside. physically and sexually assaulting the woman. the man was surprised to see police car arrive on scene so quickly. >> our detectives are continuing to work leads. we have not identified the suspect at this point. we need the public's assistance. >> i won't open the door to anybody now. >> we consider the neighborhood safe. so the fact that something happened right next door is scary. >> police say the atrium and the other buildings in area from increased security. the victim has been released from the hospital. she is recovering from the significant physical injuries. live in arlington, jeff goldberg, abc7 news. larry: thank you for that. the man accused of killing two engaged doctors in boston pleaded not guilty in court

the rests. no word on the seasons right now. 26 people had inconclusive results and 394 are still negative. larry: they were there to fight a fire but they ended up fighting each other. brad bell reports that tomorrow a trial will begin for two firefighters who came to blows in hyatttville. >> a neighbor caught the fire on camera in december of 2015. you can see the firefighters rushing and hear glass breaking as they work to save the house at 75th in lanham. what you can't see the fight prosecutors say happened on the front porch of the house as the volunteer firefighters of the west lanham hills volunteer firefighter tried to claim the fire as their own to put out holding back two paid career firefighters. the allegation is simple. they

they countered the volunteers on the front porch. volunteers held out their arms, grabbed them and tried to prevent them from going in to safe the house. the career firefighters who happened to be women called police and an investigation was launched. miller and kelly were charged with second-degree assault interfering with a firefighter and misconduct in office. a neighbor today says if a fight happened at moment like that, it seems just plain wrong. >> it's upset. some people need help. at that point you don't need to be fighting. you need to look for way to help people. >> moments ago i walked out of the courtroom. the judge sent the jury home and the defense attorney spent the entire afternoon arguing to the judge that the case should be thrown out. claiming that there isn't enough

latest battle in the debate over sanctuary cities. kevin: 18-year-old mario granados-alvarado stole gun and ammo and brought one of the guns an ar-15 assault rifle. they arrested the teen who i.c.e. learned entered illegally from el salvador. last sunday granados-alvarado was booked at the montgomery county jail in boyd. by tuesday i.c.e. sent an immigration detainer. but on wednesday jailers let the accused felon go without contacting i.c.e. today the federal agency blasted montgomery county in a press release says we do not tolerate releasing people back in the street. >> i think i.c.e. is within their rights to try to work
