he got pulled over with something that he was supposed to go to court for today, but he did not. in the mid to late 2000's, clinton portis was one of the redskins' biggest stars, drawing attention as a running back and his outrageous press conferences for stop he last played in 2010, but is no stranger to the d.c. area. tweet from d.c. police, he is reading to kids. montgomery county police met him at this intersection in january. court records say that portis was driving a florida vehicle without a valid license or registration. records say the florida resident's florida license was suspended for failing to appear in court -- the same thing he is accused of doing today. a warrant was issued for portis after he did not show up.
