supposed to walk into the courthouse and not expected to walk out as a free man, facing decades in prison. he did not show up today and the hunt is on for him. >> if he had any kind of remorse, and economy heart, he would have been here. tom: the victim's family members were furious once it became apparent that kelley was a no-show. >> you killed five people. his lost a mom, mom's lost kids, five people. tom: it was one of the county's worst crashes in decades. kelley drove 70 miles per hour drunk and smashed into a car on livingston road and oxon hill, killing two sisters and children aged 13 and one. a passenger in kelley's car died. in late march he pled guilty to 28 charges, five of them negligent manslaughter. kelley was supposed to be wearing a gps monitor. >>

asked to leave by the concierge. a short time later he entered another building and attacked a woman. >> it's scary for everybody who lives in this area. alison: the police a that he posed as a maintenance worker and sexually assaulted the woman who opened the door. if you have information, call the police. and the police believe he got into the building because somebody held the door open. the reminder not to let strangers into common areas and always report suspicious behavior. jonathan: there is fear lingering in the immigrant communities. this week, nearly 1400 people were arrested in ice raids targeting specifically gang members. that i, some law-abiding immigrants are nervous for their future. one police department is taking steps to try to address that. >> just by the mere fact they , theyperson in uniform think i'm an official. they are afraid to report crimes.

the senate intelligence committee. he was invited to speak tuesday on several topics, but virginia senator mark warner says that comey cannot make it. warner says that he hopes that comey will testify soon. jonathan: senator warner weighing in on speculation about recording devices in the white house. press secretary sean spicer would not deny president trump is recording conversations in the oval office. this morning the president suggested in a tweet his conversations with james comey before the firing may have been recorded. it would tapes exist, be disturbing if they suddenly disappear. they should be preserved. judiciary,be more but we all to get a look at them. jonathan: maryland congressman elijah cummings sent a letter to the white house to turn over any recordings between the president and comey. alison: home appliance problems can be a major headache.

jonathan: an update from atlanta -- faster than anyone expected, the northbound lanes of interstate 85 that were destroyed by massive fire six weeks ago will now reopened a month ahead of schedule. the southbound lanes are expected to reopen sometime this weekend. alison: it sounds like a great plan for homeowners, sign up, pay a premium every year, and if something goes wrong with any appliance get it fixed or replaced at no extra charge. jonathan: home buyers love these, thinking everything is taken care of, but are these unwarranted policies worth it. troubleshooter horace holmes joins us with answers. horace: the panicked call from a mother. taylor janssen had just put a load of clothing into the dryer. >> i saw flames from the top. >> she grabbed the fire extinction.
