this tuesday, may 16th. ♪ i'm such a happy individual >> announcer: from abc news, this is "world news now." >> big night on "dancing with the stars." >> yes it was. done to the final three. very exciting. the finale next week. we'll break it all down a little later on. but a lot of people breaking down the details of an explosive new report. the white house in crisis mode, facing an explosive allegation that president trump shared highly classified information with russian diplomats. >> the president reportedly bragged to russia's foreign minister and ambassador during their white house visit last week. according to "the washington post," the president disclosed closely guarded secrets from a u.s. ally, but top administration officials are denouncing the story as false. abc's david wright has the details. >> reporter: what did donald trump tell the russians in the chummy closed door meeting last week in the oval office? this exclusive "washington post" story is causing a major stir.

trump revealed classified information about an isis plot to use laptop computers in terror attacks aboard airplanes. in his meeting with lavarov, the russian foreign minister, trump seemed to be boasting abut his inside knowledge. the post says the information the president shared was code word clearance, highly classified and shared privately with the u.s. by a foreign government. a key partner in the fight against isis. >> if it is true, obviously it is disturbing. i think we have got to find out more before i could comment. >> the meeting with the russians was controversial. the morning after trump fired the fbi director, who was overseeing the investigation, into possible collusion between trump associates and the russians during the 2016 campaign. according to the post, the president not only shared with the russians what he knew about the alleged plot, but also what city in syria the alleged ally

uncovered it in. the identification of the location was seen as particularly problem attic, officials told the post, because russia could use that detail to help identify the u.s. ally or intelligence capability involved. the story that came out tonight as reported is false. trump's national security adviser issued a carefully worded denial. at no time, at no time, were intelligence sources or methods discussed. and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known. he wasn't the only top white house official to take issue with the post reporting. deputy national security adviser, said this story its false. the president only discussed the comb men threats that both common threats that both david wright, abc news, new york. >> now to the hunt for a new fbi director. president trump says the search is moving along rapidly. he plans to personally conduct

went down less than a mile from the airport where it was to land. two crew members on board were killed. amazingly no one on the ground was hurt. witnesses said they couldn't believe their eyes. >> as the it came in, it came in and it bellied up. want upside down. and landed on its roof. and skidded after it hit the top of a building and then skidded into the building adjacent to it. blowing up cars and anything in its path. >> 13 cars and three buildings were damaged before that crash. the plane flew from new jersey to massachusetts. and then to philadelphia. all without an reported problems. the pilot was heard speaking calmly to controller, just before the plane went down. >> plenty new questions being raised in the deadly police shooting of a teenager in connecticut. he allegedly rammed an officer with a stolen vehicle and the new video has surfaced. it is throwing a little bit of doubt on the official account. here is abc's linsey davis.

>> these images taken by a bystander are raising questions, 15-year-old jason negron handcuffed on the ground with his head facing to his right. the camera pans off and four second later, his head is in a different position. the victim's family says the picture suggest that he was still alive, and they say that contradicts what police told them. that, he was killed when he was shot. according to bridgeport police, the officer shot negron after he refused orders to stop and hit an officer with a stolen car. >> a young man who put himself in a really bad situation. and, lost his life. >> the 21-year-old passenger was also shot. but suffered nonlife threatening injuries. the police chief says negron's body was lying in the street for six hours after the shooting for evidence gathering reasons. but negron's family members says the police never provided medical attention they believe may have saved his life. hundreds gather to pay tribute to the teen and call for action. that officer is on
