sthe man behind the rise of fox news found himself in the news the last two years of his life in the sexual harassment claims growing louder after former anchor gretchen carlson accused him of unwanted sexual advances. then forced to resign his top post of fox news last summer. roger invented fox news and for 20 years has been fox news. reporter: credited with growing the network into a ratings powerhouse, he was also a key player in the careers of many of the top tv journalists in the country. >> there is at the network that he has not single-handedly created, shepherded, developed, grown, and produced. reporter: before his rise at fox was a heavy hitter in politics. he served as advisor to at least four presidents, including richard nixon and president trump. the head of fox, rupert murdoch come in a statement called

still hard to wrap your head around how all of this could have happened. driving the wrong way from 80 miles per hour, and michael and 30 in the afternoon. this was the scene on route 50 your ritchie highway in anne arundel county yesterday. the 22-year-old woman who caused the accident died on the scene, but the 66-year-old man that she hit in his mercedes was flown to the hospital. now we know that he has passed away. -- inside the car there was a sheet and also and i infants. the 14-month-old was flown to a hospital and is expected to survive. police in anne arundel county are asking anyone who may have been there, they want to hear from you as they investigate how this could have happened. in the newsroom, i am sam sweeney. lindsey: you, d.c. police need your help to track down burglary suspects. it

this stretch of the boulevard will be close. foxhole anden reservoir, where the close is. the workers are busy at work. it is a 30-inch cast-iron pipe that ruptured below, pipe that was installed -- get this -- before the civil war come back in 1860. when this type ruptured yesterday afternoon, it was like a river on macarthur boulevard, and there are a number of businesses, homes, and apartment buildings that are flooded. folks having to deal with picking up carpets and throwing away a lot of their belongings. >> we are concerned that it is continuing to rise and we might have to leave. i came home early from work. john: what did you find when you came home? >> it's actually looked like -- it certainly looked like a river industry. the ground floor is a total mess. john: there is still a lot of work to be done.
