had to return to miami after being hit by lightning. a passenger snapped the photo of the cracked glass walking past the cockpit. you can see the crack from the jetway. fortunately no injuries. jonathan: that is really scary. talk about what is happening with the weather. we have warnings on out there. doug: we have one. prince george's county and anne arundel county headed north to baltimore in the next 30 to 40 minutes. hail, lightning, strong winds and heavy rain. let's get started. we start with the images here. this is a line. this is taking on a noticeable orientation from hagerstown from the maryland-pennsylvania line. southeast. across the by a to the lower shore. the segments have been turning severe in the afternoon. a new area west. warrenton and down the range of the blue ridge. the storms are popping there to keep an eye on for 45 minutes or an hour. severe thunderstorm warnings that we arech watching. one for prince -- we are

watching. one for prince george's county. another one to the beaches they are running head long to the big storms around 50 as they head through the east end to cambridge on the way to the beaches. this is the heavy action now. crofton, 6:22 arrival time. 6:29 for annapolis. then they will be out of our area to baltimore southern area at 6:45. there are other fragments. there have been 469 lightning strikes just in this screen for the past 15 minutes. active storm. but it doesn't have the winds necessary or the size of the hail necessary to constitute severe weather. now back to the west. we had a clearing area for several hours that pretty much has been untouched by the previous storms. the new storms are developing ahead of the front. we will continue to grow. warrenton to culpeper. so we won't be surprised if the next ten to 15 minutes we don't get a warning ahead of the storms. later tonight it will move out of the reg
