stands. alison: turning now to the weather on the me moral -- memorial day weekend. jonathan: it's moving smoothly. that is a nice thing. but if you are planning to leave tomorrow you may have the storms to deal with. nancy: doug hill has the storms and the timing of this all. >> we may have showers in the morning but the threat of storms will be tomorrow afternoon. the early departure is a good idea. live look of the ocean city. a lot of people off the beach. fairly sunny day. pleasant. cool. lower 7 o's. that is the story here. low to mid-70's. sunshine. the past hour we have seen more sunshine around the metro area. we think the skies remain partly cloudy tonight. we will continue to monitor area of the shower west of the mountains that could affect us tomorrow morning. but the better chance we think of the showers and the thunderstorms are tomorrow afternoon. anytime after 1:00 or 2:00. showers and the scattered thunderstorms. anything really heavy to severe we think is displaced well south of the metro area.
