and i met in 20000. we dated for two years. we got married about a year and a half later decided let's try to have a family. and after trying for a while we realized we probably should seek some help. so we ended up having the good fortune of ivf be an option for us and we got pregnant on the first try. when olivia was born, ray found a piece of himself. becoming a dad changed him. which is heartbreaking because that was what he would cry about when we realized that he wasn't going to get to see her grow up. ray was diagnosed with cancer at 37 which then led to a horrific two years of treatments. ray died in october of 2009.
