any sunshine in the area. back in about 12-13 minutes with a look at the rest of the week and the weekend weather. thisay: developing now, man is in custody after an hours long standoff in clinton. he was seen leaving the house armed with a gun. ryan hughes is live in clinton with more on how it all unfolded. ryan? ryan: lindsay, police say the has an extensive criminal background and they are crediting alert neighbors for helping get him into custody so quickly. neighbors saw a man breaking into this home this morning. they saw him stealing things, and they were able to provide a good description to police. this is 33-year-old wayne gardner. he was taken into custody around 10:20 a.m. police say he broke into the home at random. he did not know the homeo

he stole his shotgun and set the back bedroom on fire. when officers got on scene, they sorry -- they saw gardner running into the woods with a gun. they feared he could come back. were toldin the area to shelter in place. officers set up a perimeter in the woods. track, we had canine assistants, and we found gardner hiding in the wood line and made an apprehension. he was unarmed. he has an extensive criminal record. say the shotgun was recovered. they tell us gardner is responsible for other crimes in the area. chose this home this morning remains under investigation. live this afternoon in clinton, abc seven eyewitness news. lindsay: the s

flames. must-see video in the mediterranean. a small boat filled with migrants caught fire. all 34 people on board were forced to jump into the water as flames engulfed the boat. thankfully, nobody was hurt. a portuguese aircrew quickly responded and rescued everyone on board. in south carolina, two men are facing charges for forcing an alligator to drink here. take a look at this. they posted pictures of the incident on snapchat. officials started receiving calls and emails and of course tracked down the men. they apparently found the gator into a nearbyoad pond where he swam away. both men are facing harassment charges. tiger woods is speaking out for the first time since being arrested for suspected dui in florida. a short time ago, we
