re-evaluating griffin's role on its new year's eve special. >> we have new developments in the investigation into russian election meddling. former national security adviser michael flynn reportedly now agreed to provide documents to a senate committee. and two congressional panels reached out to the president's long term attorney. brian ross has more. >> reporter: as the the questions grow about activities and the future role of the presidential son-in-law, jared kushner. another close confidant of donald trump, his personal lawyer, michael cohen, a man who knows many of his deepest secrets has become a focus of the expanding congressional investigation. cohen told abc news, he has been asked to provide information and testimony about any connections to the russian government. but is refusing to do so. i decline the invitation he told us. as request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered. trump came to cohen's defense earlier this
