jonathan: now he is facing several criminal charges. alison: melissa is outside trump hotel. this sounds like a true case if you see something say something here. reporter: you are right. district police say this arrest averted a potential disaster. they got the tip from pennsylvania state police that 43-year-old bryan moles was armed and headed here to the trump international hotel. district police with the secret service are still trying to figure out why 43-year-old bryan moles checked in the trump international hotel, leaving a semi-out matt ache salt style rifle, handgun and 90 rounds of ammunition in the car. >> i can tell you this. i was very concerned about this circumstance. very peculiar circumstance. i believe that the officers and the federal partners and in particular the tipster coming forward averted a potential disaster.

you can help police, they'd like to hear from you. alison: multiple reports that president trump is going to back the u.s. out of the paris climate agreement. that is 147 countries to slow the rise in global temperatures. the 2015 agreement came with a requirement to devote $100 billion by 2020 from each nation. president trump tweeted this morning that he would have an announcement in a few days and did not commit either way. nancy: president trump praised the house passed healthcare bill but few americans are joining him. three out of four participants in a kaiser family foundation poll say they do not believe it fulfills president trump's promises. only 30% of the republicans in the poll say they believe the bill fulfills the promises. only 8% said the senate should pass the bill as. is it's reported that the senate members are working on their own version. jonathan: horrible situation in kabul, afghanistan. at least 80 people killed. more than 400 others injured after a truck bomb was detonated in the

capital. this was considered the green zone or the safe zone. we have learned in the past hour 11 of those wounded, u.s. citizens. isis already claiming responsibility for the suicide attack. it happened right near the german embassy. bystanders rushed toward the blast to try to help those injured. they were rushed to hospitals. the hospitals were overwhelmed. this evening the u.s. military personnel were moved in the area to help secure what was left. a strike on syria. this is coming from russia. targeting isis unrelated to the attack that took place in afghanistan. a warship and a submarine in the mediterranean carried out the attack. the russian defense minister says the targets were in palmyra. it was not clear what hit but they said they alerted the officials before the launch was made. alison: back at home now, a move toward compromise over parking. the reston town center at the epicenter of a big debate and a lawsuit. businesses claim to have lost customers after free parking was

transportation reporter brianne carter with the update and some of the changes. brianne? brianne: alison, the focus here at the reston town center on the parking garages all over reston town center. the property owner now saying they took in the traffic patterns and the retailer input to make the changes. changes they say will address the concerns after the community and still support the goals of paid parking. >> it's been an ongoing debate. parking at reston town center. >> i know there has been an issue with patrons using the restaurants here. and the associated costs. >> another change to expand hours of free parking. >> it can attract more people. >> property owner boston property says starting next week, weekday customers will get one free hour of parking before having to pay the fee starting at $2 an hour. patrons will also now get free weeknight parking after 5:00

beyond coming up. alison: thank you, doug. first, we have an update on bryce harper's fate for you now. espn is reporting bryce harper's suspension has been reduced from four to three games. harper charged the mound, threw hyst helmet and punches after taking a 98-mile-per-hour fastball to his back side from hunter strickland. strickland received six game suspension. harper's suspension begins tonight. developing across the country, lebron james home in l.a. was vandalized and the racist message left on the gate of his home there. the n-word we're told. james and the cleveland cavaliers take on the warriors in the nba finals beginning tomorrow night. jonathan: a couple of weeks ago we told you mustard gas was found in d.c. in an munitions dump? they are now trying to clean up the area. that is a tricky process. it dates back to

richard reeve with the delicate process. you have to go slow and you have to be dressed properly. richard: absolutely. they're trying to clean up the mysterious black substance they discovered a few weeks ago. this is what we see on the site. look at the clean-up project that involves more than this plot you are looking at now. we have a bird's eye view look of the glenbrook site from the world war i area. there were traces of mustard gas, arsenic, 75-millimeter shells, laboratory glass and animal remains. a small section of the material needs to be collected before the overall clean-up can resume.

it has kept the grass and the tree pollen lower and wiped out the drought conditions. that is not a problem. and strawberries. the spring weather has been just what they needed. we wanted to go directly to the source. so we went to virginia, holland farm where you pick your own produce. this time of the year that produce is strawberries. enjoying the sunshine we found a number of the people plucking off the perfectly juicy and the ripe strawberries. some of the farmers said temperatures in the mid-70's or the mid-80's are the best for strawberries this time of year and this year was better than last. shannon davenport said a day like today can make strawberries sweeter. >> they like days like today. when it's hot and sunny, the berries like that. the sugar develops in the fruit. so this is the ideal picking time. >> the day that you pick them makes a difference. so a day like this was perfect.
