in just the last two minutes, secret service cleared them out. there is now a suspicious package in front of the white house. you can see the secret service officer picking up the package. they pushed everybody back. i want to show you what's happening over here. here who the people are out protesting for the last hour or so. they have been giving speeches about people who are affected by president trump's immigration policies. they are specifically upset about the trump policies that they say are destroying families and splitting families apart, specifically people who are undocumented here, who have u.s. born children. in about half an hour, at 12:30, about two doesn't of these protesters actually plan -- two dozen of these protesters actually plan on being arrested. we are told they are going to go in front of the white house and th a

it was a white, four-door saturn with north carolina tags. authorities removed it from the area on a flatbed truck. it's unclear right now what part it plays in this double shooting. authorities say it all happened between midnight and 1:00 a.m. >> a bunch of people fussing and hollering. a truck was trying to get this car out. it was a bunch of fussing. a gunshot went off. a gunshot went off, then two, then another one. it was crazy. suzanne: residents of this community site it has problems -- community say it has problems. >> they won't do nothing about it. authorities won't even patrol the streets. it's mayhem down here, and they know it. suzanne: what are the problems? >> drugs. everywhere. it's a lot of problems. suzanne: right now there i

release the victims' names once their family members have been notified. adrianna: right now at noon, it's an incident happening way too often in our area and across the country -- a noose found hanging inside the national museum of african american history and culture. in the last hour, we received a statement from the friends of the national museum of the american latino. then announce -- they denounce the act. john gonzalez has the latest as police are searching for those responsible. john: you can make the argument this is perhaps the most inappropriate place for this. the new museum here on the corner of 14th and constitution celebrates the quality and documents a painful past in our -- celebrates a quality -- cel documents ality and painful past.

>> you are watching abc seven news -- abc 7 news at noon, on your side. adrianna: three people are dead after a shootout inside a car dealership, and the entire scene was caught on cell phone video. with two bounty hunters attempting to take down a wanted fugitive. >> the video starts with two bounty hunters walking through a suburban dallas nissan dealership, but it quickly turns into something out of a movie. they walked toward the glass office, then you see the bounty hunters aiming their guns, reggie -- ready for the fugitive takedown, but then everything goes wrong. chaos ensues. in less than six seconds, 20 shots ring out. all three men are dead. the fugitive reaches for a gun. it falls. all three men fight for it. one man gets off several shots. >> there is shooting. please hurry. >> someone is shooting in the bathroom? >> someone is shooting in the building. i'm in the bathroom. >> unbelievably, no one else was hit by the bullets. pending drughad and assault charges in minneapolis. friends of the bounty hunters said they had more than 20 years experience. in washington, sam sweeney, abc 7 news. adrianna: in wisconsin, the search continues for two people still missing after an explosion , killinge building one, injuring at least 14 others. maggie rulli has this incredible scene. >> they continue to fight a stubborn fire in the cente

occurred. maggie: we are getting our first look at the aftermath of that fatal overnight explosion at a wisconsin plant that has left at least one dead and others still missing. >> this appears to have been some office area here. you can see some filing cabinets and some installation completely insulation completely blown apart. >> there has been a report of a large explosion, large explosion, large fire, a lot of smoke. >> it was like a bomb went off. just really intense. it shook the whole house for a few seconds. maggie: 16 employees were inside the building when there was a loud blast at 11:00 p.m. wednesday night. >> a big explosion happened, and everything collapsed. maggie: officials say their injuries are severe. >> multiple med flights, patients with injuries.

the explosion was so powerful that it knocked out power to the entire town and a neighboring community. the blast is being defined as a mass casualty incident. the investigation is still underway with at least 30 agencies involved. news justbreaking into the abc 7 newsroom, we've just learned former fbi director james comey will testify next thursday before the senate intelligence committee. we will have much more on this story coming up tonight at 4:00. after a few days of gloomy weather, some fog, and gray skies, the sun is finally out again. doug: it looks like we are probably today, tomorrow, saturday look great. sometime later sunday, the showers and storms will come back. let's share the good news with you. this is the first day of hurricane season, atlantic hurricane season.
