too bad, but that is going to creep up for us. still, a beautiful day out there. 92 degrees. as we continue to the next few days, the temperatures and moisture continue on the rise. high pressure in control for us. with this sort of flow out of the southwest, we kind of continue this same conveyor belt of increasing humidity. that is when we start to see the changes as we work our way into tomorrow and tuesday. even into wednesday, dealing with soupy conditions. not much showing up in the satellite and radar. here is that southwesterly breeze. with that, we are hanging at 90 degrees for d.c. 91 degrees in fredericksburg. a little bit cooler in the valley. as you go throughout the evening, not a whole lot of relief. tomorrow morning, most of us starting off close to 70 degrees. today was day one in the 90's.

scene. there are so many people out here. taylor young, she is very popular. a lot of big apps are going -- acts are going to be out here tonight. you have more than enough time to come on out and enjoy the festivities. from the 42nd annual capital pride festival. kimberly: it is been 50 years since the u.s. supreme court threw out laws prohibiting interracial marriage. the unanimous decision on june 12 banished the virginia law. similar statutes in about one third of u.s. states. currently, 11 million people are in interracial marriages through some say they still face determination and violence over their relationships. back to equality, the theme of the day. thousands of people marching together, voicing the concerns, rallying for inclusion, access, and justice for all. ryan

he never thought he would walk again. his boyfriend did not survive. .> he ran back in the club could not find me. i was with my other friend and actually got shot. now, organizers are encouraging the community to come together and not stand silent. theirope people go with communities and get active. ryan: ryan hughes, abc 7 news. kimberly: you heard ryan mentioned this, tom marking the first anniversary of the deadliest mass shooting in your history. mourners have been leaving mementos outside the nightclub. police recently released body cam footage of that attack, which opened old wounds for those who lost their loved ones. >> everyday is like it just happened. >>

happened in our community. ryan: ceremonies will be held tomorrow. the first is planned for just after 2:00 a.m., the moment when the attack began, and all of the victims names will be read aloud at the scene. kimberly: a pedestrian recovering tonight after getting hit in a suspected dui crash earlier this morning. that pedestrian had been involved in an earlier accident, and was standing next to troopers when his patrol car was hit from behind. they believe chris was driving under the influence. he does face charges. at last check, the pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries. the trooper is out of the hospital tonight. take a look at this. a single engine small plane crashed right into a vehicle in the party not of the church. this happened in florida. the faa is looking into it. this happened in paul county. firefighters say

is a new jersey this weekend for a political fundraiser. he has not avoided the spotlight of the pressure investigation. trump immediately disputed some of the statements from fired fbi director james comey's testimony last week. on friday, he says he was willing to tell his side of the story under oath. he attacked comey via twitter, which drew a rebuke from a member of his own party today. >> you are your own worst enemy, mr. president. knock it off. you may be the first president stopstory to not able to inappropriately talking about an investigation which, if you were quiet, which is clear you. willrly: jeff sessions testify before the senate intelligence committee on tuesday. that is the same committee comey sapi four on thursday. the british -- comey sat before on thursday. today's response comes after the guardian newspaper reported the president wants to postpone that visit

high pressure has been hanging out with us, and it will very slowly break down. you see this red color. for a lot of monday, we are going to hang on to that as well. as we finally start to get into tuesday and wednesday, that is when our next weather feature will move this way. that cold front will not with the coolest down too much, but it will bring in more cloud cover and a better chance of rain, especially as we get into wednesday. the real heat six around tomorrow, tuesday, and by wednesday, we will look for temperatures to stay in the 80's. unfortunately, along with that rain, we are going to be bringing in quite a bit of humidity. and veryear, comfortable, but a little on the warm side. not dropping off too much in the metro area. you have to go pretty far outside the beltway to get cooler temperatures in the low to mid 60's. around 7:00 tomorrow morning, feeling like the mid 70's. by

90's. we talk about right around 96 degrees. -- we talk about right around 90 -- we top out right around 96 degrees. but nottill hot today, too muggy. we bump that up on monday and even more on tuesday. by wednesday, that is when we are into the soupy category. that continues to climb. although i'll, howard -- all the while, our temperatures still down. here is all of the days together. 94 degrees on tuesday. 88 degrees for you wednesday. we will hang onto scattered activity as we get into thursday and friday, and heading into next weekend, watching for scattered thunderstorms as well. if you have father's day plans, the timing on the cold front looks pretty late, but that is something we will have to watch throughout the rest of the week. kimberly: the muggy meter. i have not thought about that
