spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at the trump international hotel. stephen: the attorneys general from maryland and d.c. filed a lawsuit alleging president trump run afoul of the constitution by taking money from foreign powers. >> president trump is flagrantly violating the constitution. stephen: the suit seeks records, including tax returns and it also aims for injunction against the president. >> our constituents must know that a president who orders their sons and daughters into harm's way is not acting out of concern for his own business. they must know we will not enter a treaty with another nation because the president owns a golf course there. >> he happens to own a hotel. nobody is forcing them to stay here. stephen: outside the trump hotel, the president's supporters say trump's business success puts him in a different league from any prior president. >> there has never been a

and had money like this. stephen: white house spokesperson sean spicer called the lawsuit politically motivated. he also said they expect it will be dismissed moving forward. reporting live, stephen tschida, abc7 news. nancy: thank you. the president's revival travel ban still blocked after another appeals court upheld the initial ruling. they say the travel ban discriminates against people based on the nationality. that comes as hawaii is asking the supreme court to deny the president's request to reinstate it. attorney general jeff sessions will be on capitol hill tomorrow. but he is not there just to visit. he will testify publicly at 2:30 before the senate intelligence committee. questions are likely to focus on firing of james comey as well as sessions' contact with the russian ambassador in the presidential campaign. michelle: a somber anniversary marked today in orlando, florida. it's been one year since 49

inside the pulse nightclub. since this early morning there has been a steady flow of visitors paying their respects. some people dressed as angels holding candles. the owner of the pulse plans to turn the site into a memorial. >> i know we'll create pulse in a new location for all of us. i will be reserved for the sacred grounds for all survivors and generations to come will know what he had taken from us. michelle: in our area a candlelight vigil will be held tonight to honor the victims. it begins at 7:00 on 20th in dupont circle. there muriel bowser is scheduled to speak at the event. nancy: an update to a story we brought you on "good morning washington." police are ruling the death of a mother and father in vienna a murder-suicide. police found 47-year-old sabrina titus stabbed in her home and she later died at the hospital. a half mile away her ex-husband 53-year-old ralph titeus' body was found

apparent suicide. the couple's two children including one with special needs will be cared for by family members. two people are in the hospital after a shooing at a woodbridge hotel. police were called to quality inn this morning after a woman walked in the lobby with a gunshot wound. the man she said sot her was barricaded if a hotel room. when police got in room he was shot and taken to the hospital. both are from new york. michelle: a key vote at tomorrow's d.c. council meeting may determine the future of the streetcars in the city. the streetcars carry 3,000 people a day. free of charge along eighth street and benning road. this is in northeast. the council chairman among others called them a novelty and proposes a cut of $60 million from the $160 million streetcar budget. the mayor's office called a news conference. >>

immediately after the sexual assault to prove it was a relationship. if convicted cosby faces up to ten years in prison and a $25,000 fine. nancy: trying to help out a group of young girls get to the metro and was attacked for her good will. it happened this morning in takoma park. the mother just dropped the kids off at a daycare. richard reeve explains what happened. richard: the woman was sitting here at willow and tulup will when a group of girls approached. they asked where the metro was. that is when one of the girls went to the rear passenger door and tried to grab the woman's purse. from this window another girl began hitting a woman and shocked her with a stun gun. in this quiet neighborhood a sense of disbelief. >> we are continuing to be concerned about the safety. >> the victim, petite mother in her 30's. >> so many people going by.
