press your man and play defense when you got these guys behind you blocking shots and helping me. and just effort. and pride. >> doris: you know, when kevin durant was added, you said there would be no adjustment, your game would remain the same. did you have to find a way to be more efficient in less touches and so how were you able to do that? >> it's no adjustment when you get a guy like kevin durant. look at it. we went 16-1. along with the other guys we picked up, just a collective effort, so, it wasn't much of an adjustment, and it's easy to adjust when you're winning. that's what it's all about. >> doris: titles make it worth it. congratulations. draymond green. so, rightly or wrongly, you said last year's failures were in some measure your responsibility. so, how did you take the passion that is so integral to the success o

and he said, you talk about curry, durant, lebron, kyrie, klay thompson, you can put these guys at any point, they're great players. give these guys a lot of credit. they're not just piling up numbers. they are flat-out great, great basketball players. and deserve this moment. >> mike: you look at golden state, again, the last three years, they won 67 and win a title. last year, they set a record with 73 and came oh, so close to winning a title. now they win 67 again. this three-year stretch is just extraordinary. >> one year, win 73 as a record, the next year, 16-1 to set a record and win your second championship in three years. with the talent they've accumulat accumulated, they're on the verge of a dynasty, unless health oir someone leaving gets in the way. i just don't see who can amass the talent that the warriors have to push them in either conference. >> mike: meanwhile, for cleveland, again, a great run

only lost one game coming into the nba finals, mark, as they continue to celebrate here. the cavs gave them all they had. golden state was just simply sue period. >> mark: they were just better. so many weapons around the floor put them in tough situations time and time again. and there comes a point where you just got to acknowledge that and now you prepare, your management, david griffin, try to reload and improve as a basketball team and try to close the gap. the good news is, you still have the best player in the world. lebron james. and what a performance he put on this entire final. >> mike: his numbers in the last three finals are just absolutely legendary, what he's done. the daily evaluation of his legacy, of his career, is ju just -- it's so ridiculous at times. what he's done in his career on a continue -- you always use the expression sustained greatness, sustained excellence, it's like we've never seen anything like this. >> jeff: 14 years. still in his prime. an
