a.t.v. and dirt bike riders terrorizing the city. nancy: this video shows they were taking over k street. alison: it spreads virginia and maryland as well. jonathan: we want to ask the mayor what is she doing about the problem. nancy: and sam ford did just that. what is her response to this? sam: i'm on 6th street southeast. according to the residents this place was covered with the a.t.v.'s and the dirt bikes on sunday afternoon around 4:00. for the mayor today, she talked about the program that police launched last year to identify the riders of dirt bikes and a.t.v.'s and she said mothers should be concerned about turning these devices in before the sons are arrested on one. >> if you see your kid who is generally a good kid on tv with their picture, you don't want your kid to get in trouble. if you know that dirt bike is in your shed or stored in your

station owner allowing big groups of people to fuel up at your gas station. sam: while the a.t.v. riders buzzed downtown d.c. and national harbor sunday evening we also learned there were more numerous in communities like southeast. people not bold enough to go downtown say residents had no problem riding along streets like sixth in atlantic. one long-time resident said he was forced to stop his car 15 to 20 minutes sunday afternoon. as they took over the street. >> i have never seen that many of them before. what was also a concerned to me is not just a.t.v. and u.t.v.'s but also they had cars with them, too, violating the law. something needs to be done about that. sam: so again, that is jordon who said they also had ca

loudoun county claiming a man had sexually and physically assaulted her and he was a member of the ms-13 gang. that man was later identified as darwin martinez torres. the attack allegedly happened in the presence of child prompting an investigation by child protective services in loudoun county. but our forces confirm the victim did not want to pursue charges against darwin martinez torres because she was afraid of him. she would not even give his name. only after torres was arrested for the murder of nabra hassanen a week later that c.p.s. staff in loudoun county made the connection between the two crimes. we reached out to the sheriff's office for a comment and have not heard back. live in the satellite center, jeff goldberg, abc7 news. alison: thank you. now breaking on the hill. today, senate majority leader mitch mcconnell delays a vote on the healthcare bill until after the july 4th recess. the g.o.p. senators

bug battle. announcer: this a breaking news alert. larry: that is about the man accused of killing nabra hassanen. northern bureau chief jeff goldberg has more on his background. jeff: this is in regard to an assault a week before the murder. they confirmed thousand revelations about the suspect darwin martinez torres that were first reported by the "washington post." according to a report, a week before nabra hassanen was killed a woman arrived at a hospital emergency room in loudoun county claiming a man physically and sexually assaulted her and was a member of the gang ms-13. that man was darwin martinez torres. the attack happened in the presence of a young child. that prompted an investigation by loudoun child protech tiff services. they filed a report with the sheriff office but we confirm that the victim did not want to pursue charges because she was
