the district will mow the lawns of about 20 senior citizens this summer. carl matthew started the program a decade ago. >> you get the second opportunities and it's a wonderful thing. i'm really thankful to the administration for being supportive and enabling me to implement this program. kimberly: today mayor bowser and met with a family benefiting from the lawn care program, which is run by the department of youth rehabilitation services. wildfireers battling a in arizona made a successful rescue, not of people but hotshots spotting deer fawns directly at harm's way. hotshots carried them out. r were transferred to a nearby unaffected habitat and reunited with their mother. the fire is nearly 50% contained.
