the wake of that wild shootout in a nightclub in little rock, arkansas. federal authorities in alabama say they've recovered two hand guns and an assault rifle during the arrest of a rapper known as finesse 2 thymes. all are expected to survive, but two remain in critical condition. a utility worker is dead after a home explosion in pennsylvania. three others were also injured in the blast which rocked the neighborhood in lancaster county. one of the victims is in critical condition. the workers were trying to repair a gas leak. the house was leveled and four others nearby were severely damaged. a woman inside the home managed to get out just before the explosion. the illinois man accused of kidnapping a graduate student from china is being described by friends as a normal guy. surveillance images helped investigators track down

a dozen, two dozen people have just gone by, men, women, old men, children, some of them are clearly very badly injured. there's nothing here. there are no facilities, no hospital, no care. civilians have been routinely kidnapped, tortured and killed by isis. no one knows how many have died here or how many are still trapped. some people held as human shields. as you can hear, the battle for mosul is still going on. they think just 100 to 200 isis fighters are now holding out. but what's made the battle so difficult is at that they're going to stand and might to the death. the ranks of the dead and wounded grow daily. the humvees rumble by as makeshift ambulances. don't expect peace anytime soon. and that's because significant pockets of isis fighters still remain. some cities that had been liberated have been attacked again.

early sunday morning. investigators say they located the .40 caliber handgun used to shoot 18 year old bianca. desmer has a license for the weapon. she was returning from a shopping trip for college when she was shot the both drivers were trying to merge into the same lane. scary moments for united passengers in london. all 59 passengers and four crew members escape without injury. but investigators are trying to figure out what caused that fire. stephanie ramos has more. >> reporter: panic on board this plane in denver as flames shoot out of the engine. >> we're observing flames from here. >> reporter: flight 5869 on its way from aspen to denver, touching down safely, then while taxiing, the pilot reporting a fire on board.
