from abc news, this is "world news now." we begin this morning with breaking news. yet another provocative move by north korea. u.s. pacific command says it detected and tracked what it believes was a launch of a missile. u.s. military says it flew for 37 minutes before landing in the sea of japan. >> japan says there was no damage to either aircraft or ships and the u.s. military says the missile posed no danger to north america, but president trump immediately responded with two successive tweets, saying of kim jong un, this guy, does this guy have anything better to do with his life? and then hard to believe that south korea and japan will put up with this much longer, perhaps china will put a heavy move on north korea and end this nonsense once and for all. >> this is part of a string of

republicans had failed to introduce a good bill after seven years. the lawmakers will revisit the issue when they return to work next week. mitch mcconnell is looking to amend a bill rejected by nine republicans and the president is considering a plan to repeal obamacare before coming up with a replacement. and an emotional health care case in london has caught the attention of president trump. 11 month old charlie gard suffers from a rare genetic disease leaving him unable to breathe or move on his own. his parents want to bring him to the united states for an experimental treatment, but doctors and other experts say treatment would only prolong his suffering. president trump tweeted he'd like to help. meanwhile, troubling findings inside the pope's baby jesus hospital. the ap reports that in an attempt to turn around the money-losing hospital, children often pay the price for the increase focus on profit with overcrowding and poor hygiene contributing to deadly outbreaks of infection.
