unsettled and some wet pay. . the last of those showers pushing off to the bay and they are moving on out of here. but as we widen out the view, one little line of showers through pennsylvania and through portions of west virginia. that's fizzling out. not a factor but this complex of storms are pretty strong. if they hold together and continue that push to the east-southeast, that could bring us a shot of some rain later on this evening. drive home, 5:00, 6:00, we're good go but 6:45, 7:00, a few showers out ahead of that next batch could creep in here. could impact that rain. so watching that a few hit or miss. and later tonight, the rest fizzles. 72 in fredericksburg. and the forecast for the afternoon, we're dry through the early portion of the evening but if this system holds together in the midwest, we could see a few boomers after dark later

benjamin stoddard middle school and perhaps other locations here in the county. since then, we've learned bell was employed by the county dating back as far as 2008 as a track coach and as a contract worker for before and aftercare programs in two charles county schools. the f.b.i. set up a toll free number for anyone who has concerns about this case. and free and confidential hawaii testing is being offered by the charles county health department for a child who may be in need of screening. the school held a closed door meeting and investigators admitted bell is h.i.v. positive and may have sault more than seven boys. the group of women is concerned about the impact this is having on their community. >> as a mom, i mean, could you imagine the thoughts that are going through some of these parents' minds? i talked to a few of my neighbors as this is my school district and they are outraged. th

because they trusted this man with their children. >> they are holding a town hall meeting to offer the houston and in the wake of what is happening and the school will hold two meetings in late july and in august to offer apartments more information about this teacher's aide turned alleged child predator. adrianna: new at noon, the search for this man accused of snatching 11 persons at nine different montgomery county schools and child centers. the incident happened between may and june. the man has already spent around $13,000 in stolen credit cards found inside those purses and about $500 cash. if you know who this person is, be sure to call montgomery county police right away. a historic flight touched down at duluth airport and marks the new beginning of a new era for

road overpass where both direction. we're looking southbound here and that's a lot of volume but not as heavy. also taking a look at the traffic going south. the far side of your screen, pay attention to the northbound volume. coming up through dale city. that is going to be heavy. the southbound ride has been struggling down past route 123. right down by the bottleneck where lanes narrow down to three lanes instead of four. and we also had some road work listed past this spot for mobile crews. looks like they may have wrapped up but the damage has been done. we'll be back with more news after this break. don't go anywhere.

adrianna: right now an army of firefighters is still battling a four-alarm fire at a building under construction. this is in oakland, california. the flames started around 5:00 this morning and caused part of that structure to collapse. right now, crews worried that a crane at the site may fall as well. hundreds living in that area have been evacuated. so far though, no injuries have been reported and no word on when that fire will get under control. new images released of the moments an nypd officer was ambushed and killed while on duty. this surveillance video shows the gunman approach the mobile command post in the bronx wednesday before shooting a officer. she was sitting inside that command center at the time. police identified the summit as 34-year-old alexander bonds and he was killed by other officers. develop right now. investigators are looking

pair of major scares aboard two separate flights overnight. the first, a delta flight bound to beijing after witnesses say a passenger was walking back and forth to the bathroom in first class and then toward the exit door. a flight attendant tried to stop him but the man punched that flight attendant in the face. other passengers stepped in to restrain that man. >> this is an emergency. adrianna: the canadian airline was escorted by two f-15 jets after officials say a passenger was making threats. officials didn't say what those threats were but that man was also take into custody. must-see video now out of ocean city. -- was filming on the fourth of july when they spotted a whale shaveraget one guy jumped into the water to swim at that whale shark. they are the largest known fish species.

they are rarely this far north since they prefer water no less than 72 degrees. talk about an unwanted late night visitor. a bear in colorado broke into a house and just made himself at home. that bear is seen strolling through the kitchen and at one point, opens the fridge. apparently didn't see anything he likes though. then put its nose in a few cabinets and just kept sniffing around. the bear was inside the home for five hours! while the homeowners slept. it was eventually tracked down and euthanized. but awfully comfortable in that house as if he's either been there before or roamed around another house. >> and then they had to put him down? adrianna: i know. i never want to hear they were euthanized. brian: my god. he opened a fridge. he put a little burrito in the microwave. adrianna: exactly. [laughter] all right. so i'm so glad to see that

weekend is not the same as last week. brian: the humidity is going to start dropping back. maybe an isolated one tomorrow. the humidity will be dropping back. and the breezes pick up and by the time we get to sunday, it's going to be absolutely perfect around here. adrianna: sounds good. brian: take a look outside. i want to share the photo shot here from our live camera out in ocean city. 81 degrees right now. wind at 10. some scattered clouds at the shore but folks are still enjoying out there as they head to the beach. the next couple of days, going to be a hit-or-miss shower or storm. but still looking like a pretty solid day at the beach. the storms will be later tonight. tomorrow, hit or miss. 85 for friday. 90 for saturday. water temperature near 70. we talked about that shark story. the water temperature they like about 72. as far as our 90-degree tracker, most we've had from 2010 was
