of an arlington police officer on north courthouse road. he followed the group west on 50 to washington boulevard toward 395. they realized the rider dropped the phone. the police were able to track the phone to 24-year-old stefan williams of d.c. who police say was live streaming the illegal a.t.v. ride. >> we know the individuals are doing it for showmanship aspect of it. >> according to the d.c. court records a man believed to be the arlington suspect has a long criminal history including a charge for a separate illegal a.t.v. ride last month. >> i feel bad because they are in a

when he came to shore the wildlife rescue folks were there to take care of him. michelle: great to hear that. check out the flames here. shooting through the roof of the hyattsville home. it happened overnight on willow hill drive. the couple who lives there tells us they woke up to popping noises and the smell of smoke. both made it out safely. the cause is under investigation. jonathan: still a terrifying site. months after. look at it now. chill down your spine. flames have been put out a long time. but the apartment fire in london that killed 80 people still teaching the firefighters something. the new video shos ethe effort they are going through to recover the loss. on the emergency stairs there is little sign of damage. but by the time they got to the second floor there is soot covering the walls.

friday to cool us down and drier air over the weekend. tomorrow is the five-day heatwave. and it will feel up to 105 degrees. it will extend through pennsylvania. it's feeling like 100 in leesburg. 101 in quantico. 103 in annapolis. that is the big number. 99 in washington. through the day tomorrow, plenty of sunshine. it's hot and humid. we will climb. 97, 98 degrees. we indicated that it will feel six or seven or eight degrees warmer than that. there could be isolated thunderstorms tomorrow and in the evening. in the day on friday that will change. talk about tomorrow. according to the modeling, we think around 3:00 is peak of the highest heat

erin: it was fun to watch three national teammates in the usual spot behind max:00er in the all-star game last night in miami. you wonder how much effort the players would give in an exhibition game but scherzer didn't hold back in the one inning of work. you could hear him grut with every pitch. bryce harper was out there doing work, too. check out the hustle on this play in the third. harper charges hard and makes a nice diving catch to end the inning. everybody wanted to see this. that matchup between scherzer and aaron judge. scherzer won this battle with a strike-out. here is his reaction to this being just another game. >> your pride is on the line. you want to go out there and show the world that you can be the best. those are the best hitters in the american league right now. you want to compete against them and show that you can get the
