chance of thunderstorms -- we are waiting for the humidity and the chance of thunderstorms. we are in the 70's and a lot of places. the temperatures around d.c. hanging right at 80 degrees, but that is one of the warm spots. most of us are down into the 70's. we had this high pressure and control all weekend. where it has been sitting has allowed really nice weather. buttays that way tonight, heading into tomorrow we bring a chance of thunderstorms. tomorrow's storms, the dark green color, is the marginal risk area. more than likely the severe storms stay further to the north through the daytime tomorrow. the further west you get of d.c. is where we will have the better chance, increased chance. not a great shot of strong storms, but something to be aware of through the day.
