pastorally after falling into a coma in a north korean prison. the state government will make use of u.s. passports their illegal. the change will be put on the federal register next week and will go into effect 30 days after that. developing right now, two tourists from turkey and sweden died after a powerful earthquake jolted the island. more than 500 other people are injured. the 6.5 magnitude quake damaged several buildings there. after the quake, hundreds of tourists spent the rest of the night outdoors. ,he quake rattled other islands but the island was the closest to the epicenter and was the hardest to be hit. an update now. 4 teenagers are still missing somewhere in the u.s.. six students disappeared. two of them are now in canada with family and friends. they are trying to find the other four.

competition's closing gala. investors believe they were trying to orchestrate a bid for possible asylum. a deadly crash on a major commuter route. john gonzalez is along indianhead highway to tell us how this happened. john: traffic moving smoothly on the southbound lanes here on indianhead highway route t 210. they have all lanes open on the other side. you can see the traffic vehicles there. they have the tow trucks on the scene. they have one of the vehicles at least on the flatbed of one of the tow trucks. vehicles that really do not look .ike vehicles any longer they were a charger and a mustang. head on collision at 2:30 a.m. this morning. one of the vehicles driving in the wrong direction. both drivers killed instantly at the scene. this was such a violent crash that one of the cars burst into flame.

adrianna: one crazy joyride. police arrested this guy in clearwater, florida, after he spent down a stretch of beach and streamed it on facebook line. looks like he is breaking in the video. thankfully, no one was hurt. >> we are not fixing to help you. >> better get down here. adrianna: no criminal charges for a group of florida teenagers who taunted a drowning man and also filmed his death. they can be heard laughing at as he struggles to stay afloat. another can be heard laughing and saying "he is dead." there is not a law where anyone who is unable to call for distressed. a decade afte

he will soon be a free man. the nevada parole man decided to release the 70-year-old man after almost nine years in prison. martha gonzales has what is next for oj. >> o.j. simpson now being held in a separate part of this nevada prison away from the general population. a precautionary measure for protection now that the nfl hall of famer will soon be a free man. >> i do vote to grant parole. >> thank you. [applause] >> that unanimous decision made by the parole board nine years into simpson's 33 year sentence for a 2007 robbery in this las vegas casino. >> you believe the property was yours? >> it has been ruled illegal he by the state of california that was my property. >> the 70-year-old could be released as soon as october 1, telling the parole board you plans to move back to florida, where he lived for about a decade leading up to his arrest. >> he will come to the tampa area. a lot of his friends are in tampa.

we often look to the weekend for relief from the work week, but weather-wise, this weekend is not going to do it for us. molly: definitely not.we're still tracking the heat and humidity through the upcoming weekend. we are affecting a cool down, but coming into next week. we will talk about that in just a few moments. the heat advisory extends until 8:00 local time. is,ls-like temperature we are talking upper 90's to triple digits for the quantico area. definitely want to check on the neighbors and pets. make sure you are hydrated in the afternoon and evening hours. here is some additional tips. the feels-like temperature's in the triple digits not only today, but through the upcoming weekend. check the backseat before you head out of the car. that is a good idea. a few showers and thunderstorms heading into west virginia. picking up some cloud cover in the d.c. area. looking a little hazy at times.

times," and some of this information confirmed from av sources would indicate -- ap sources would indicate sean spicer was unhappy with this decision. he expressed the sentiment to the president. the president made his formal decision around 10:00 a.m. on the new communications director. sean spicer immediately voiced his displeasure with that situation and said he was resigning despite other reports indicating that the president requested he stay on. there were multiple times where people thought maybe this was a breaking point for sean spicer over the past six months. notably, one of them was when they went to the vatican and had a time alone with the pope. sean spicer looking very much forward to that opportunity was not allowed in that room. that is one of many moments that people thought this relationship was not going to last or perhaps sean spicer may be on the verge of quitting.
