between storms. the rain threat is not over yet. thank you for joining us. i'm kimberly suiters. heavy downpours swiftly moved through about four hours ago. morning, trees toppled onto homes and cars after the storm. a flash flood warning remains in effect as you go to bed. josh knight has the first look at the forecast. still looking at thunderstorms moving through the area, some moving through right now. if you look really closely, people along the national harbor with their umbrellas. as far as the flash flood watches in effect, no warnings in place right now. the watches for d.c., prince and anne frederick, arundel counties. these are the areas that had heavy rain earlier the day, so

as we deal with more storms overnight, those are the places with a better chance of flooding. the rain coming down heavily, parts of fairfax county, into d.c. looking at the national harbor with light rain, and towards reston, ultimately towards areas that are part of the flash flood watch -- montgomery county, into d.c. by tomorrow morning, the rain is predominantly done. we start off very warm and muggy come in the 70's. back into the 90's one more day with cooler weather on the way. we will talk about that and the next chance of thunderstorms coming up. kimberly: the fast-moving rain and storms popped in and out the entire weekend, catching some off guard. the wet weather toppling power lines, causing power outages, and uprooting trees, sending someone to holmes and onto cars. the roof of this alexandria house

at one point there may have been more than 100 people crammed into the back of that tractor-trailer as it crossed into the u.s. eight people died by the time the police were called to the walmart in san antonio. another is in the hospital. a store employee called 911 after a man came up to him asking him for water. to areae were rushed hospitals, most in critical condition. the truck driver is now in custody. >> they were literally taking in the heat of the texas sun without access to water. kimberly: some survivors are as young as 15. security video shows dozens of people getting out of the truck and into cars before the deadly discovery. a bad rap,ten get but some of them now are sniffing out crimes. cheryl conner shows us how they are trading to catch the bad guys instead of being the bad
