votes in coming days. on capitol hill, megan hughes, abc7 news. jonathan: the president's senior adviser and son-in-law jared kushner back on the hill today meeting with the house intelligence committee members who wanted to hear from him about the role in the trump campaign and if there was a possibility of collusion between russia and the trump campaign. yesterday after the meeting with the intel committee members, kushner came out in front of the microphone saying there is no collusion with russia. nor did he know of anyone who did collude. now the president joked on twitter this morning that maybe barron will be next. barron is the youngest son who just moved in the white house a few weeks ago. nancy: a busy morning following the president's announcements on twitter. he also proclaimed the attorney general had taken a "very weak commission on clinton crimes." the president's words there. will the president do anything about it? scott thuman joining us from the capitol hill bureau. even the white house has a rather interesting disruption of the

police custody and the investigators believe he played a role in i street shooting in northeast. the boy did survive and is going to be okay. he is at the hospital with his family. two people have been arrested but they are searching for one more guy. >> a man that is undergoing surgery after another man opened fire at a williamsburg auto shop this morning. michael taylor went to the shop to settle a dispute with an employee. he shot the employee multiple times and taylor barricaded himself in the shot for three hours before the police were able to arrest him. no word if the injuries are life threatening. nancy: lucky whitehead was a high school football star in manassas and earned a spot on the dallas cowboys. alison: until he was cut hours after an arrest. now it turns out that the police in virginia say thigh made a big mistake. jeff goldberg has the evidence that his agent used to prove the police wrong.

jeff: when lucky whitehead, former wide receiver for the cowboys accused he was accused of shoplifting from this store in woodbridge he denied the charges to the dallas cowboys saying he was not in virginia at the time the crime took place, he was in dallas. he had flown home to d.c. the day of the crime but the flight landed ten hours after that crime took place. despite that the cowboys dropped him from the team yesterday. but today a major development in the story. the police putting out a statement saying they were wrong and he was right. he is not the man suspected of shoplifting june 22. when the suspect was caught by police after the incident the man did not have i.d. but he told the officers he was rodney "luckq" whitehead providing a birth date and social security number. officers checked the d.m.v. dataa

photo on file matched that of the man they had in custody. he was released with a citation and did not show up for the court date on july 6. the cowboys became aware and released him from the team. >> he is disappointed. i don't know anyone who loved being more to being cowboy than lucky. he is looking for a new team and wants to be part of the family. >> a statement said they regret the impact the events had on whitehead and his family. they are still searching for the man who claimed to be lucky after the shoplifting incident. lucky whitehead remains in dallas to assess the options. five teams are interested in the services.

jonathan: chipotle has had a lot of people getting sick after the latest in sterling, virginia. we sent stephen tschida to find out how common the virus is. what did you find out? stephen: we found out the noro-virus is not pretty but it is pretty prevalent. in four days 120 people believed to have contacted norovirus at this chipotle. how did it happen? >> you have someone handling your glassware and your forks.

jonathan: there is progress to report from the eastern shore as the people there continue cleaning up after the ef-2 tornado over the weekend. michelle: the bit of good news is most of the power has been restored but the clean-up could take weeks if not months nancy: brad bell is in queen anne county that looks like there is still a lot of work to do, brad. brad: a lot of work. this used to be a peaceful quiet neighborhood and now it's loud. we are looking here at the one yard where the guys have several big trees to chop up. i'll show you in the bay city neighborhood. look down the street. every one of the houses has lost trees. and suffered damage. with many of the fallen trees cleared it's easier to see how bad the damage is to homes. according to the county officials 15 are uninhappennable. dozens more are damaged. look at the line along one street. each with a blue
