in anne arundel county four hours this morning, traffic backed up for miles over the bay bridge. investigators believe a wrong way driver is to blame for this. sam: around 2:00 this morning, the first 911 call for a wrong way driver on route 50 come in but by the time it maryland state police can get here, it is too late. the drivero cars and was speeding east in the westbound lane. the scene ande on another driver and a passenger in the third car are rushed to the hospital. the cars almost unrecognizable. for 5.5 hours, the westbound lane approaching exit 28 were shut down and trap expressed across the bay bridge. police work to get the bodies out for more than one hour. the fire department needed to chop because of hard to get in. unclear
