larry: young people that are supposed to work to a better future. we have more. reporter: there are six job corps centers. when it comes to serious misconduct they were not among the biggest problem sites in the job corps problem but drug use to assault, each still had dozens and dozens of incidents that show the program has problems. 7,616 assaults. >> success takes skill. >> 6,073 drug-related incidents. >> skill takes training. >> 548 sexual assaults. four homicides. >> job corps is ready for you. >> the government videos try to sell the world on job corps. but stunning violence and crime happening on site tell a different story about the program run by the

larry: back now to the horrible story from ohio. fair ride ripping apart sending riders flying, 18-year-old killed and seven others hurt. tonight the "7 on your side" digging in to the companies that build rides to find out what is keeping people safe? and nathan baca joins us. you followed an urgent warning about the model of the ride in ohio. nathan: the warning said urgent, fixed as soon as possible. the warning is ten years old. we are trying to uncover if the ride operators acted on the warning. the ride was called fireball at the ohio state fair. the manufacturer called it afterburner. diagrams made by the dutch ride manufacturing k.m.g. show a structural flaw in one of the metal poles connecting to th

urgent in 2007. i called for the ride operators to reinforce the ride as soon as possible. another flaw with the shoulder restraints was reported in 2009. the maker of the ride issuing a statement to express the deepest sympathies and telling the operators to stop using two separate ride models. we reached out to the ride operator amusement of america and said no one was available to answer questions. multiple amusement ride leaders tell us there is no government agency regulating manufacturer of rides. a manager called it the market based quality control. to be clear it's not been determined if the structural flaws were fixed in columbus or if they had anything to do with yesterday's death. larry: wow! amazing. our area saw its own thrill ride accidents including the one last year frederick that injured a woman. often head at six the i-team looks at the

to prevent the accidents. alison: "7 on your side" fighting back with the surveillance video that police want you to see. this was in june on new york avenue in northwest d.c. you see a man walk up behind a woman at a store checkout. grabs her cell phone and he runs off. if you recognize him, right there, please call the police. republicans are trying to pass what they call a skinny repeal. this is after they realized they didn't have the votes to pass repeal and replace plan. skinny repeal would roll back the mandate that everyone carry health insurance. this is less than what the g.o.p. leaders want but say it is the only way to keep the process moving. larry: british judge decided the critically ill baby charlie gard will be moved to hospice location where he will inevitably die. it comes after the hospital treating the 11-month-old denied the parent's final wish to let him die at home. the judge ordered there should be no media report when he is

to make it impossible to breathe without help. he is expected to die in a few hours after he is moved. alison: a 9-year-old with autism in new york lost both his mother and father in a matter of 22 days. now he looks for them in a rare beauty. he doesn't necessarily know or understand the parents are gone. in his head mommy went to the hospital. daddy went to work. his aunt is trying to help him understand by telling him parents crossed the rainbow bridge. so now he searches for rainbows as signs of his parent's presence. when he couldn't find a rainbow his aunt went to twitter to ask for pictures of rainbow and it went viral. >> he has rainbows as favor away as taiwan. if it's not raining or if it is and no rainbow he has a place to go and get that comfort. alison: his and is saving the thousands of the photos for
