i am devastated. i never had anything like this happen ever. her sense of security is shattered after two men were shot on the front steps of her home in the 4800 block of kansas avenue northwest. >> it was so close. brian: neighbors heard the sound of gunshots ricochet off the block around 2:00 this morning. >> they woke me up when the shots fell. brian: surveillance cameras captured the victims sitting and waiting for a bus when another man comes up. he orders them into empty their pockets. second later, both men get shot. one victim fell on the steps. the other stumbled around back and was pronounced dead on scene. >> he must have fallen goes the blood is from the back to the front on the street right there. brian: the violence started before 10:00. two men shot near the ecuadorian embassy on 15th three northwest

police say the woman met a man who looks like this at quincy bar and grill and left with him early wednesday morning. that is when police say the man forced her to an area and raped her. he is described as an hispanic man, 20 to 30 years old. 200 pounds. call police if you recognize him. a six-year-old man -- 60-year-old man stabbed. montgomery county police say it happened after 11:00 last night. by the shot -- police are looking for a 15-year-old suspect tonight. skies, andlear unseasonably cold temperatures. it is hard to believe. it is the end of july. the heat and humidity will come creeping back in. meteorologist josh knight can tell you exactly win. josh: -- exactly when. josh: l

kimberly: there was a brief power outage near nationals park. a circuit breaker briefly knocked out power in southeast. nearly 900 customers were impacted by the brief outage. power was restored by 11:00 a.m., couple of hours before the nats played against the rockies. school is just weeks away and the
