4:00, a former elementary school teacher in montgomery county just sentenced to 48 years after being convicted of child sexual abuse. he was convicted in june and he testified he never intentionally inappropriately touched the student accusers at cloverly elementary school in silver spring. jonathan: the opioid epidemic in maryland now has the schools taking extreme measures. they will be stocking one a fast-acting anti-overdose medication. richard reeve explains. riches we are in the health room of the julius west middle school, one of to 205 schools storing naloxone. it will be scored in a secure location. training on how to administer the drug begins at the end of august. this is after the projections by the montgomery county police there will be 244 opioid overdoses this year. up from 107 in
