cheryl conner is live at the metro station. cherly: -- detectives around the tracks a short time ago and they were looking for evidence out here after the shooting that happened at 3:00. we want to take you to some video, because we were on the plat arm when the metro train were the shooting happened was still here -- the platform when the metro train where the shooting happened was still here. a metro spokesman says it was around 3:00 this afternoon when a teenager was shot in the abdomen. the shooting happened right on the train that came out of silver spring. it was pretty quickly. metro put out the images of three suspect leaving the station. they are considered armed and dangerous and they may still be in the silver spring area. >> the witnesses

those three persons of interest boarded a train on the opposite platform and went back in the upper -- the other direction. we determined those three persons of interest exited metro at silver spring station. we want everybody in the silver spring area to get a look at these images. we want to let you know that the red line is no longer single tracking. service is back to normal. police don't have a motive for the shooting just yet, but we can report, some good news. the victim was breathing and conscious when taken to the hospital from this station. i want to report that there are cameras on the train and we have been told from a metro spokesman that the cameras actually caught the shooting. they may have more images to put out later tonight. we will be staying on top of that and bringing you the latest . that is the very latest, live from northwest. ch
