meteorologist steve rudin is here. steve: i wish i had better news. it will improve by sunday big time. 83 at the airport at this hour. a few showers and thunderstorms that are beginning to development. let's focus the attention west of d.c. along the i-81 corridor where we have a newly issued thunderstorm warning for paige and shenandoah county until 4:45 this evening. the cell is capable to produce heavy winds and downpours moving east to woodstock in the next half hour or so. we will keep you updated on it. talk about the hourly forecast closer to the d.c. metro. it will slowly fall in the 70's for the late evening hours. a chance of showers and rain later tonight. the timing coming up. alison: the montgomery county agricultural fair open today.

discrimination. after the questions for management was leaked online. it was for employees to air out grievances after an engineer circumstance laled a memo -- circulated a memo and explained biological differences. the engineer has been fired and since sued google. nancy: two jetblue flights diverted after two crew members got sick midair. alison: one made an emergency landing because of a strong odor. the pilot and crew members were taken to the hospital. hours earlier on a different jet three flight attendants complained of headaches and it was forced to turn around. both are under investigation. nancy: the man arrested after upping on stage after a brittany -- after jumping on stage after a britney spears concert shared his perspective saying he just wanted to dance. he had no plan to hurt her. they took down the man in the concert and it briefly stopped the

alison: okay. usain bolt, the greatest sprinter in modern times plans to retire after running the final races this coming weekend. this is at the world championships taking place in london. last saturday bolt had a bad start in the 100-meter and he had to settle for a bronze medal. on saturday he is slated to run in the last race overall to represent jamaica in relay finals. nancy: look at the surveillance video. terrifying incident from austin, texas. b.m.w., someone is inside. it plunged seven stories in an alley. this is in july but the car was parked in a downtown garage when it went through a protective barrier. it bounces off an s.u.v. on the ground. that driver was shaken up, the one in the s.u.v. and not hurt. incredibly the woman in the car is expected to survive. nancy: a few feet back and it would have been a different story. alin:

now. this damage is in tucson, arizona. heavy monsoon pounded the city. several other trees were uprooted around the city blocking roads that were already flooded and congested. 7,000 people lost power. nancy: an intense scene there. how about at home? what do we have going on? steve: it's friday. we should be happy about that. we have to dodge thunderstorms in the next six to eight hours. it will improve later tonight and tomorrow afternoon, a few thunderstorms. part of a cold front. it hasn't been terribly hot this summer. we have had plenty of rain. it's nice and green. what is green, the golf course. this is belle haven country club. the sun may make the atmosphere more unstable so we could look at the stronger thunderstorms as we head through the next few hours. so we will keep you updated on abc7. a good time to download the

83 in manassas. cooler to the west of us. 73 in oakland, maryland. we have had the rain showers and that is where the temperatures are cooler now. show what is going on with the stormwatch7 satellite and radar. it's quiet and dry inside the beltway. no problem for the early part of the rush hour commute. to frederick and hagerstown, that is where we have stronger thunderstorms that are beginning to develop. the severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for paige and shenandoah county until 4:45. so another half hour to go. this is moving to the east at just around 20 miles per hour. capable of producing the gusty winds, the heavier downpours. that is going to continue at least for time being. but notice has it has moved east it will run in the high erelevations, the mountains. this may slow the storm and allow it to diminish a little bit. give you a track on

the heaviest rain is falling. happy creek at 4:49. at that point that warning will likely be over. here is the forecast tonight. mostly cloudy. lingering thunderstorms, especially later tonight. winds out of the south at 3 to 6. low temperatures 65 to 72 degrees. a warm and a humid start to saturday morning. may be dodging raindrops. this is what the future cast wants to paint. 7:30 tonight to look at the areas of heavier rain moving in the d.c. metro area. by 11:00 tonight we could look at the heavier downpours. if we have plans later take it slow. the heavier rain will move out of here and the showers reappear to tomorrow morning. then once again the showers and the thunderstorms come tomorrow afternoon. we are not looking at a widespread severe weather event. forecast tomorrow, highs will make it in the middle 80's. the beach forecast is mid-70's tomorrow. 81 degrees on suny.

nancy: this is awful to see. caught on camera. a 7-year-old boy with autism dragged into and through a school. this is in ohio. the teacher and the teacher's aide say they were both trained to deal with children in this situation but the mother, his mother couldn't believe what was happening when she saw the video. >> i just couldn't catch my breath. my heart broke. i was mad. i was mad because i trusted these people. i trusted them with him all school year. nancy: very difficult to see. the child was okay and one of the teachers ended up with a black eye in the situation. school put both on paid leave but th
