terrorists. chaos shatter the piece of a summer evening in one of the most popular sections of barcelona, las ramblas. a white van, jumping the sidewalk of the pedestrian-only street, slamming into crowds. witnesses describe people screaming and running for their lives as the driver of the van swerved side to side for hundreds of feet in an apparent effort to strike as many people as possible. >> doing 80-100 kilometers per hour. he was going at high speeds. people were being flung into the air. jeff: with witnesses attending to the wounded, police shut down the district. authorities urged people to shelter in place while ordering stores and nearby subway stations to shut down. terrorists have repeatedly used vehicles

we might see an isolated storm with highs of 85 degrees. a new tropical storm, this one is harvey. this is going to scoot through the central caribbean. top winds will get a little bit perer, close to 70 miles hour before it hits somewhere on the coast of nicaragua over towards belize, but that is several days out. per things could change. conditions are such that no major amplification of the storm is expected in that area. 90 in frederick. 79 in baltimore. martinsburg, 87. the same number in washington. the more important number, i think -- if you spend a lot of time outside, the humidity and temperature combinations -- 102 inwhat it feels like th fredericksburg.

tonight, but it stays very muggy. there will be haze and fog. a few showers off to the west. as we get to west of the metro area closer to sunset, those things will rain themselves out, and that will be that. things seem stronger as you get past the interstate 81 corridor. muggy, fog patches possible. temperatures in the 70's early in the morning, and through the day, we will watch for showers and storms to become possible through the afternoon. it will clear out and dry up over the weekend, and i think it will be just fine. 90 tomorrow, upper 80's over the weekend, turning a little less humid. eclipse weather should be fine, partly to mostly sunny. showers and storms tuesday and wednesday. turning more pleasant as we head into next week and next weekend.
