as tom roussey reports, some drivers had to take the tours. tom: many parts got slammed tonight. this video is from the beltway in prince george's county. and these videos were posted by d.c. residents to twitter. this is tenleytown and this is connecticut avenue northwest. arease of the worst hit was low-lying rock creek parkway. these were the last cars to get through before park police shut down the southbound lanes around the evening. after that they made southbound traffic turn around and go north for a time. the water was flowing faster than normal. what all of the mess came had to have been one of the best sunsets of the summer. jonathan: a beautiful sunset. this video is flooding in the cleveland park metro station. yikes. the water is pooling

around the clock. >> i actually walked up on the family, overheard them say they are dead. anna-lysa: just after7:30 friday morning, a family member found three young girls dead. they were all under the age of 10. the police say they suffered trauma to their bodies. >> we are still unable to say how the children are related come if they are related. >> i cannot even imagine the terror the children were facing. as the triple homicide investigation begins in the neighborhood, parents are horrified. >> sad. two weeks before school, very heartbreaking to know that somebody could do that to kids. anna-lysa: investigators do not believe that neighbors are in danger. they are pursuing justice for the young girls and their families. >> we are confident the investigation will be well handled. an

i wound up further and further away from my husband. jonathan: a terrible situation. four people are in custody, but the manhunt continues for the driver. authorities also killed five suspected terrorists during a shoot out last night. now to finland where at least two people are dead, six injured after a stabbing attack. a man with a knife slashed markets. two different officers took the man into custody after shooting him in the leg. state media reports several other arrests, but the authorities have not released a motive and have not said if this was terror-related. growing support for a controversial idea and ohio, pressing charges against heroin addicts who need to be treated for overdoses. more than 100,000 people have signed a petition for this to go through.
