jonathan: investigators are trying to find out what caused this house to catch fire overnight in stafford. on cornwall drive fully involved in flames when firefighters got on the scene. nobody was home of the fire started but they are trying to figure out what started it. >> drivers on metro's x-2 bus line are demanding action after a woman throws a cup of urine at a driver.

keep a popular trail open. it's set to close for more than four years in a matter of days. at the center of the debate, the long-running fight over maryland's purple line. kevin lewis is live on the georgetown branch trail. andn, the clock is ticking a lot of people are not happy about this. kevin: t minus four days, michelle. the closure will run from downtown bethesda to the outskirts of downtown silver spring, including the stretch here chevy chase. trail users have a plethora of questions and great sadness, too. >> it's not enough information and it is poorly placed. kevin: she bikes to work along the georgetown branch trail daily. she is stunned to learn that the stretch of path is set to close tuesday to make way for the purple line. >> they should've had a broader outreach by people on the trail at the intersections during the commuting hours. to say, here is a flyer, we are closing it down.
