seriously and protect their families. do not focus on the exact path. it could have affect statewide and everybody should be prepared. it has went east in the last forecast but we have to understand that this is serious and we cannot take chances. it is life-threatening. not a storm you can wait through . a top priority is fuel availability. i spoke with the governors of alabama and south carolina and reached out to the governor of resend driver the regulations so out-of-state resources to move expeditiously into florida. we are moving as much fuel these -- through the system as fast as possible and we are moving fuel to get it to you as an -- quickly as possible. we are doing all we can to streamline field delivery but you may see lines were outages. we are doing everything possible in the keys to get gas you as quickly as possible but we will get you out.

make sure everyone gets out. for everyone else across the state, if you know you are going into a shelter in your county, take only as much gas as you need. you do not need to fill your tank if you are only going to stay close to your county. all courts are open and operating to bring fuel and ortslies and be a -- p are open and operating to bring fuel and supplies in. if you are told to evacuate, get out quickly. we can expect additional evacuations as the storm continues and gets near our state. everyone must listen to their local officials. individuals with special needs are starting to be evacuated and officials are advising residents who live in low-lying areas to start evacuating today. i cannot stress this enough, do not ignore evacuation orders. we can rebuild your

real-time traffic information and evacuation routes is available at fl511.com. all holes have been waived -- tolls have been waived on florida roadways. evacuate quickly and safely. we are appearing for desperate -- -- preparing for irma doug: let's talk about irma. top sustained winds 185 miles per hour and moving to the west at 16 miles per hour and near st. thomas. it will continue its track for the next several days, maintaining its strength as a category five hurricane. all of these areas within this cone are in play. do not pay attention to the centerline. it may make impact in

could be on the west coast or out in the gulf or in the atlantic. the closer it gets to florida, the more accurate the tracking will become. keep that in mind. it does diminish a little bit in strength and by some possible close approach to south florida on sunday morning, it could still have sustained winds of 145 mile per hour and go north. once he goes north, will he go offshore, move inland? these things are not knowable. by early monday, models suggest close to 10 inches of rain on the southeast florida coast and heavier amounts inland. this model suggests possibly it may come inland. but there is no way to know for sure. same with the wind gusts. if it is close to that centerline, the wind will change , depending on where the center of circulation goes. there is a lot to watch but the potential is there across the carolinas
