was being held hostage by a man with a bomb strapped to his chest. multiple officers arrived. they said they encountered the 15-year-old man outside the home holding that crowbar. police say they told him repeatedly to put down the crowbar. they say he began to aggressively approach them. they filed multiple shot at the 15-year-old killing him on scene. further investigation revealed no sign of any bomb in the area. as for who placed the 911 call or what was going on inside the home prior to the 911 call. the circumstances are still under investigation. one final point we want to make, the prince william county police are unveiling a body cam program. four police officers throughout the county. but the officer responding to this situation were not wearing body cameras. live in haymarket, jeff goldberg, abc7 news. nancy: thank you. protesters filling the street of st. los

police officer cleared in a deadly shooting. the judge finding jason stockily not guilty of killing anthony lamar smith following a high-speed chase in 2011. stockily's white and smith was black. local leaders urged calm. so far one person has been arrested. >> the sheet of orange flame. and the huge fire. everyone screamed and ran off. >> we are getting the video showing moments after a bomb blast on rush hour train in london. as we come on the air, britain raised the terror threat to critical. meaning another attack is imminent. nancy: that is the manhunt behind the attack that wounded two dozen people. this is just the latest in a string of attacks in great britain. scott thuman is monitoring it from the terrorism alert desk. scott? scott: isis claimed responsibility for the attack. to many people it's not

there has been a handful of the major attacks in england so far this year. >> march in london. then june in manchester. today, london again. >> people were injure and screaming and crying. scott: the frequency of the attacks increasing. so is the worry. >> it keeps going and going. we have to be very smart and very, very tough. scott: terror-related arrest in britain are at a record level. with 379 from june of last year to this year. 68% increase according to the u.k.'s home office. >> experts have been saying that what we have seen over the last period isn't a spike. it's a shift in relation to attempts by terrorists to kill, injure and disrupt our way of life. scott: that shift reflected in fewer gun attacks since they are difficult to

nancy: at home the woman who vanished three years ago with the young children only to reappear without them charged in the murder. today a judge orbedering catherine hoggle held without bond on the new charges. her ex-husband, the father of jacob and sarah called the new charges the right but the difficult decision. >> i have held out hope that something else may have happened. as i think any parent under the circumstances would. but it's always been a faint hope. i know now with the passage of time that she killed my babies. nancy: hoggle has been locked up for the past three years but ruled incompetent to stand trial. prosecutors had to file new charges against her by today or risk her going free. jonathan: tomorrow, d.c. police are on full force for what could be a busy weekend. three political rallies planned from three different ideological groups. that is in addition to two major festivals which means major road closures in addition to the heavy police presen.
