thank you. we have an update for you in the last 20 minutes or so. this is about virginia's elite task force one. now they were just called and asked to stand down after being told seven members of the team would go to mexico. they were getting ready, cots, office equipment and tables to take with them. it's been a busy couple of weeks for the 200-member team. several members helped with the rescue efforts after harvey and texas and irma in florida. right now eight members of the team are in puerto rico. they tweeted this photo about four hours ago. after weathering maria. now they are ready to head in the streets to help out there. larry: 100% of puerto rico right now is without power after maria barreled through. the storm downgraded to a category two 15 minutes ago. as elizabeth hur reports by that time it had already done plenty

larry: some take advantage of people after natural disasters so with the hurricanes, what can prevent people falling victim to fraud? we find out. >> recovery efforts continue across texas, florida and the southeast. people try to get back to formal in the aftermath of hurricanes harvey and irma. but survivors of the storms are now facing a new danger from scammers looking to cash in. >> the most prevalent is fraud against fema. but we also see donation fraud, contractor fraud, price gouging and other type of fraud. >> the number of the fraud complaints for the national center for disaster fraud are skyrocketing. the center received over 700 fraud reports related to harvey and irma. >> the week before harvey hit, we were getting 100 a week. the week after harvey hit we got 100 ad
