holding my son. reporter: whether things they were taking away from you, the injuries? kirk: it was first running because we felt like we had a great start, a lot of good plays. we cannot sustain. we kept flipping the field, got to midfield, got going, then could not turn it into points or longer drives. i look at it as third-down conversion. 8 of 13 on third down and i think we were 4 of 11. if we had made more third downs, we stay on the field longer, time a position improves, give the defense a break, and who knows. i think that hurt us. in the third quarter, we ran so few plays. it was just a unique game the way that it dan flowed. reporter: it look like you handled the crowd noise pretty well. no false starts, i don't think you got sacked, no holding calls. is that a sign of growth for this offense that you did that? kirk:

from the fact we were a more mature offense tonight and a hostile environment. we do not beat ourselves and i appreciated that. it showed a lot about our team's preparation, the details we cover in practice to try to be ready for this tough environment. reporter: you talked about taking your spots in using your legs more and you did it a lot. kirk: yeah, moore at the end of the game. when teams play man coverage, that is when you the opportunity to run. guys are chasing their man, they don't have eyes on you. takingd a good job people the way and doubling people and really all i had was to run. i think that is an area of my game i can use more. i think it is therefore the taking if i get through the progression and don't find anything. can you recall another quarter like the third? you guys ran four offensive plays, and what are the challenges? especially with halftime, basically not playing that long. kirk:
