someone's firing a rifle on the 32nd floor down the hallway. >> copy. >> reporter: the man calling for help, a maintenance worker who found himself in that hallway, too, and radioed to hotel security. >> security wants to know if you know a room. >> it's at the end of the hallway. i can't, i can't tell you what room. it looked like he fired down the hallway when i got close to the door. >> reporter: the maintenance worker, steven shuck said he wanted to make sure help was on the way. >> remain call, call it over the radio so we can get police on their way as soon as possible. >> reporter: according to the revised police timeline, it was about six minutes later the shooter began to fire on the concert crowd. and a person who has reviewed the records tells abc news hotel security did not call the police until after the rampage was already under way. police say officers did not reach the 32nd floor until after the shooting had stopped. in a statement, the hotel says the police timeline may not be

we told you about this couple that found a hidden camera in this house they were renting on airbnb. >> probably a nightmare for anybody. >> reporter: police say this couple had no idea they were being secretly recorded in their airbnb rental, a camera hidden in a smoke detecter looking down on their confused faces. the florida couple renting the home from this man. the listing provided to our abc affiliate wfts advertises the nice, large townhouse in long boat key. police say they found two smoke determina detecter cameras. they record audio and video. >> they didn't have to be hard wired in. >> reporter: the husband works in i.t. and noticed the pinhole camera. he says my wife and i are distressed by this situation.
