group of teens chased by martinez torres after a road rage confrontation last june. investigators say he caught hassanen, bludgeoned her with a baseball bat and dumped her body in a lake near the sterling home. the indictment days after a friday hearing that hassanen's mother shouted at torres saying, "you kill her" and threw a shoe at him. martinez torres to make his first post indictment appearance on thursday. at the "live desk," richard reeve, abc7 news. michelle: thank you. a jury convicted a new jersey man for last year's explosion in new york that injured 30 people. prosecutors say khan rahimi planted two bombs in the chelsea neighborhood and he also faces charges for a shootout in new jersey. alison: a scare on a double-decker bus in d.c. full of tourists. a man got on board and went after the driver. stephen tschida live with where it went down

white house. stephen? stephen: that is right, alison. right near the white house. check it out. we are on h street in front of the white house. last night, workers here at the hey adams describe the scene to me. they saw a man running through 16th street. they were afraid he would hit by a car. he took off down 8th street. right here, seconds later, the double decker tour bus slammed to a halt. they saw the passenger screaming, yelling, then they say they saw one of the passengers jump up, run to the bus driver's rescue. pull the man off of the driver. hauled him off the bus to the sidewalk. until police could arrive and arrest this suspect. the man now charged with attempted carjacking; resisting arrest. and assault. that is the very latest from the scene last night. reporting live, steve steve, abc7 news. michelle: -- stephen tschida, abc7 news. michelle: thank you. bowe beg

break-ins inside a d.c. parking garage. this morning a man broke in the iowa condos garage in northwest smashing dozens of car windows and taking items inside. last week we showed you surveillance video of a suspect in a similar break-in two blocks away. police will now look at those videos to see if the man arrested today is also responsible for the other crimes. alison: d.c. is pitching four sites in the bid for amazon's second headquarters. so the locations are along the an anacostia river front, capitol hill east, near howard university in the shaw neighborhood and the noma union station area. mayor bowser: business publication around the nation put us in the top five, the top two, top three cities that the experts say meet the criteria. alison: so that is d.c. meanwhile, virginia is pitching ten locations including four spots close to our are

it will impart some flavor. maybe not good ones. >> in centreville, q mccray, abc7 news. alison: one month after hurricane maria devastated puerto rico, just 15% of the island has electricity. the governor says it is unlikely full power will be restored until the middle of december. amid criticism of the federal government response to the crisis, individuals and charities have stepped up to do what they can. anjelique just delivered medical supplies to her hometown in the far western part of the island. >> we took insulin and syringes and hundreds of antibiotics. >> well, relief organizations and the hospitals like johns hop championships and medstar washington donated the life-saving medicine and supplies. chef andreas is still there helping out in puerto rico. he is tweeting out pictures with the #chefsforpuerto rico. he has a um
