and radar. behind us, a lot more cloud cover to move in. things warm up, and that we get the clouds and ultimately the rain not too far behind either. orangesthe yellows and further to the west. this could bring damaging winds. let's start out with the storm outlook for the storm prediction center. this is the risk further south, closer to richmond. part of the marginal risk for severe weather. not a high chance. just something to keep in mind as you go through the overnight hours. as we work our way through the evening, temperatures dropping, cloud cover sticking around, and then a chance for rain moving in. most of the day is dry. not going to be a problem there. it is as we get into the overnight hours than the rain starts to move in closer to 9:00 10:00.

15-year-old students were on board. they went to the hospital with minor injuries. the driver of the car also went to the hospital. so far, all involved are expected to be ok, and the driver of the bus was cited for negligent driving. police in d.c. are investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle. suzanne kennedy has more on this. suzanne: if you look behind me, you can see the authorities are investigating the incident here in the 4800 block of arkansas avenue northwest, although they will wrap up there on-scene investigation shortly. the accident took place around 2:30 this morning near the intersection of arkansas avenue and decatur street northwest. thisrities aren't sure at point which way the motorcycle was traveling, or exactly how the accident happened, nor do we know and identification on the person who died overnight. for a period

adrianna: happening right now, a manhunt for a suspected serial killer in tampa. three people were killed in the same neighborhood in less than two weeks. all those doing something less than blocks from one another.

person of interest. the desperate manhunt for a possible serial killer in a tampa neighborhood. 3 unsolved murders in 10 days, just about 10 blocks apart. >> i hear boom boom boom. reporter: the first shots were fired on october 9. four days later, another body was found down the street and around the corner. the most recent victim, a 20-year-old killed on thursday just 200 yards from the for shooting. >> whoever is doing it is obviously able to vanish from a quickly. we have not ruled anything out. reporter: police believe all three are connected because they happen so close to each other in similar fashion at night. little evidence has been made public. the only meat is this grainy surveillance video of a person of interest wearing a hood the night of the killings could residents are urged to keep the porch lights on and stay in groups. >>

the record-breaking wildfires. from san diego to san bernardino, million are preparing for prime wildfire conditions. in san diego county, 150 acres burned over the weekend. after battling some the deadliest wildfires in the state's history, california wildfires that it would increase its staffing level. all right. we were talking about how amazing this weekend was. congrats to you for finishing that race. josh: probably could have been cooler for the race, but it was sunny and beautiful. d.c.body from out of town, , you should see it, such a pretty day. now things are kind of -- adrianna: oh boy. adrianna: it was star-studded sunday night at the kennedy center to honor a legendary late-night post. david letterman was given the mark twain prize for american humor. letterman was the longest-serving late-night host in our country. he was not only honored, he was rested by fellow comedians like bill murray, jimmy kimmel, and steve martin in attendance. kidd o'shea was on the red carpet and he talked to letterman and we will have more on that at 12:30. speaking of stars, justin timberlake will be back on the super bowl halftime state for the first time since that infamous appearance with janet jackson back in 2004.

david letterman was honored last night at the kennedy center. kidd o'shea was on the red carpet and caught up with the late-night legend and a few of his comic comrades. kidd: david letterman returned to late-night tv as a guest on "jimmy kimmel live." >> are you feeling more comfortable now? >> no. it is a fixed fight. they have got to have somebody to show up. kidd: last night jimmy kimmel was in d.c. to honor his friend. he doesn't seem excited about this. jimmy: well, no, he's not the type debate in glory. that is part of what we love about it. kidd: martin short was a guest with letterman almost 60 times. it was always a mountain to climb because you really wanted to score. kidd: when david letterman first arrived in los angeles, jimmy walker was the first person to give him a job as a writer on
