announcer: now, abc seven none -- abc 7 at noon, on your side. >> heartbreaking. that churches my family. i have so many that are gone. adrianna: right now at noon, heavy hearts for texas. in the last 30 minutes, law enforcement officials gave brand new details on the church shooting that left 26 people dead in sutherland, texas.

not have a license to carry a gun. police say he may have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. we now know there was a domestic situation within the family. his mother-in-law attended the church, and he sent her threatening texts. we just learned investigators reviewed video from inside the they also let us know that evidence found at the scene may prove that the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. victims range in age from five to 72 years old. >> he is a coward. why else would he go for people in a church? >> in one family, three children were shot. -year-oldd brooke and 8 emily died. brotheryear-old

covering three of the youngest daughter of the pastor of the church also died. he set his daughter was a beautiful, special child. >> it was kind of in chunks. gunman, devin kelley, first opened fire outside the church. >> he was going from the face of the church to around the outside. >> officials say he was jumped on by a hero neighbor. kelley crashed his car and was found dead from a gunshot wound. >> he heard so many people. affected so many people's lives. why wouldn't you want to take him in? kelley appeared to have anger issues following the year in prison after a court-martial for assaulting his wife and child. conductved a bad discharge from the air force

2014. we also know the suspect did not have a license to carry. as far as a motive, investigators say his mother-in-law actually attended his -- in this church. situation domestic included threatening texts. adrianna: be sure to download our abc 7 app for more news about the shooting. paul manafort and rick gates returned to federal court. both were indicted on federal counts relating to money laundering and tax fraud. a judge handed down a stiff order for both. ryan hughes is outside the courthouse with details. ryan: paul manafort and his longtime business associate, the gates, that across table from one another as their attorneys argued for them to be released from home confinement. during that short hearing, the

information and could not grant that request. manafort was seen walking into court. once inside, his attorney said his client wants to be released so he can continue to earn a living as an international consultant. gates asked to travel both within the country and internationally, but the judge refused. manafort, trump's former campaign manager, and his associate were indicted last week via they face conspiracy against the united states, money laundering, and other charges pay they are the first to be charged in special counsel robert mueller's investigation. the judge stated she needs more information and will not give the men more freedom until they work on a deal to disclose assets and secure a bond package to assure future appearances in court. last week, manafort and dates pleaded-

today. we will share those in a second. but do you agree at home? 32% of virginia voters list jobs, the economy, and immigration as top issues with this governor's race. even though everyone we have spoken to at the vienna metro station say they will be voting tomorrow, one of the biggest challenges is getting voters to come out tomorrow. both camps expect voter turnout to be low tomorrow. ed gillespie, a lobbyist, a former chairman of the rnc, the republican candidate has spent the last few days attacking his opponent for advocating for essay sure cities. on the other side, lieutenant governor ralph northam has focused on trying to tie his opponent to donald trump, also addressing sensitive issues, such as the white supremacist rally in charlottesville. so will donald trump have an impact for voters tomorrow? >>

it turns out that the man dozed off and hit a pole. he is expected to be ok. developing now, authorities are investigating after an officer involved shooting last night in wheaton. authorities got a call of an assault happening at the stony mills shopping center. we -- officers were told an suv rammed a car. what happened next is under investigation. police say an officer was forced to shoot a man. that man was taken to the hospital and is listed in sarah's condition. in hyattsville, you may wonder why things are running slow on baltimore avenue. we have details on the water main tying things up. >> a big mess in hyattsville -- hyattsville. you can see a water main has broken at the intersection of baltimore avenue and longfellow street, although this taking place at 2:00 in the morning.

adrianna: authorities have released names of the victims gunned down sunday in sutherland springs, texas. children, parents, grandparents gathered overnight. matt gutman was there. was the youngest daughter of the past of the -- first baptist church. her father telling abc news his daughter was a beautiful, special child. seen here in a recent clip, he was out of town at the time. he told abc news everyone hurt and killed were his close friends. population could fit in a banquet hall, everybody knew somebody who perished. >> everybody knows everybody.

[laughter] robin: my goodness. i grew up in mississippi. it was gorgeous, as you can imagine. to spend time with his wife and the boys -- there were some things that were supposed to be outtakes of that we had to keep in the show. so you get a real sense of who he is. but what

get. i know you are a big fan. and his wife also talked about that. it is not like he turns it off and on what he is at home, so you do not know who you are approaching. he is exactly who you think he is. he has a big heart. so much.to share we spent several months with him , including the time at the farm. in light of everything going on in the world right now, it is -- i think people will get a lot out of it tonight. adrianna: now i am jealous you got to spend so much time with ryan. robin: what is your favorite song? adrianna: i do not know if i have a favorite. but i would say that i just -- i like him, and i think he is comes across in his music. i do not think people realized that when his sister and brother-in-law passed, he and his wife took in their nephew. that speaks volumes to his character. robin: yes. and they did not hesitate.
