problems. belle haven country club in alexandria looks really green. lots of rain with temperatures well below average. not a lot of traction moving through the afternoon. at reagan national, 40 five degrees with wind out of the north-northeast at eight miles an hour. since early this morning we have only gained 4 degrees and it doesn't look like we will increase a lot more. if you are traveling inside the beltway or just outside the beltway it is wet with plenty of rain even a mix near cumberland into pennsylvania. a little closer, moderate range hugging the montgomery and frederick county border. we are not expecting anything to become severe, but temperatures will be on the chilly side. highs in the upper 40's, may be close to 50 erie talking about the rest of the week, friday

into saturday, we could be looking at a hard freeze in the district. is decision day in virginia. suzanne kennedy is in arlington. every vote will count in this tight race. it certainly well. this is being watched very closely because it could predict the 2018 midterm elections. one of two governor's race is being held in the country today. as steve mentioned the rain has moved in and that could impact the number of people heading out to the polls today. early today lieutenant governor ralph northam went to the polls where he voted with his wife by his side. the candidate tweeting he voted for a virginia that works for everyone.
