at this gun range in upper marlboro. this is where the guards, all employees of the california based north american security came for weapons recertification essentially to prove it could handle a gun and hit a car get. prosecutors say the scam was simple. instructors told guards, most of whom worked here at the headquarters in silver spring under a multimillion dollar government contract that they missed. but for $150 to $500 they could buy a passing score. since the contract is for armed guards. that could mean loss of job. >> you have the people here trying to make an honest living to do their jobs. someone is shaking them down for money. brad: the scheme ran for three years until someone reported it to the commerce department inspector general and the investigation was launched. seven victim who paid cash has been identified. that is not the only harm suggested. >> you ran the possibility of having people carries th

federal charges. bell who is hiv positive faces ten federal charges of the child pornography. police say there are 28 victims and 14 unidentified children. bell recently indicted on 206 counts. alison: new developments after a string of attacks on metro bus drivers. today who members of the d.c. council introduced a bill to make assaults on the transit workers an automatic felony. it comes after a woman threw a cup of urine to a metro bus driver and other recent attacks. larry: new developments in the texas church massacre tonight. a houston tv station reporting that devin kelley was at a mental health facility in new mexico and briefly escaped in 2012. the same year he made death threats to the military superiors and tried to sneak weapon onto the base. we are live on the scene and right now the investigators are trying to get in kelley's phone. reporter: that

stephen tschida is live in prince william county to explain how. stephen: we have been working the story all day. 15 minutes ago i spoke with the president of the prince william county naacp. he said he noticed 50 incidents where the individuals received repeated phone calls in some cases. either live or robo calls or text messages. essentially telling them not to go to the regular polling place but to an alternate polling place where they would not be registered to vote. why this is happening is a blatant example of the voter suppression. we spoke to the voters here in the woodbridge to get their take on what is going on. take a listen. >> it's terrible. that is terrible. it's trying to set people up and not vote to trick people. i don't think it is a good idea. it's horrible. horrible.
