. >> how long do you have to soak the chicken? >> not very long, just long enough to get it so the flour will stick. it's vegan and you're making a wonderful gravy. >> it looks just like breaded chicken. >> mm-hm. now you're going to add the smothered chicken into this pot. just place it in. we're going to cover that and let this cook. >> so while we're waiting for the chicken to stew, we're going to make the ultimate favorite, mac and cheese. >> mm-hm. >> how do you get mac and cheese to be vegan? >> we start out with a vegan cheese. it takes about eight cups of milk. i like to start off on the corners to make sure that all the mac and cheese is covered with it. then we mix it. and you see how creamy it is. >> yeah. >> so as it bakes, it's going to
