just the beginning as we move through the afternoon hours and overnight, the wind will pick up and the cold air will filter in from the north and west. a couple golfers out there at belle haven country club. i guarantee they will not be there this time tomorrow. 51 at reagan national airport. no wind chill to worry about, at least right now. satellite and radar, clouds around the capital beltway. they will stick around for most of the day. once that front moves through, skies clear later on tonight. forecast shows high temperatures in the lower to middle 50's. then the big plunge this evening. we are talking about a freeze watch in effect late tomorrow night into early saturday morning. it does include the district, arlington, alexandria, all of a sudden ireland tomorrow night into saturday morning. could be looking at temperatures in downtown d.c. around 30 degrees.

trump called for the end of daca . nine schools in the area, 20 from around the country walked out of class this morning. take a look at the scene over at wilson high school earlier. this is the moment students walked out of class at 9:00. a pro and just a group is backing the school walkout today. some media outlets reporting the republican senators do not plan on including amnesty for the 2 million daca recipients in the year and spending bill, so that is why these folks are marching today. after october 5, the last deadline for daca ever knew was, immigrant people and allies said we needed to take action. congress has had two months and they did nothing. >> i am walking in solidarity with the people who are recipients of daca and cannot speak up for themselves. john: it is a sea

of signs here at capitol hill. hundreds of students and their supporters are planning to go to different federal buildings, senate buildings, house buildings. we are told inside the heart building, they unfurled banners and 15 of these protesters were arrested today, even though they were planning peaceful demonstrations. live on capitol hill. now, a navyveloping veteran is charged with kidnapping and killing a prince george's county teenager. ashanti billie. susan kennedy has more on the suspect and the message from her parents. susan: this is a community that's been in shock since ashanti billie disappeared in late september. this is a high school that she attended here in upper marlboro. eric brian brown is under arrest, facing charges that he kidnapped and then killed billie . authorities say he is a retired navy vet who was homeless

from a blimpie sandwich shop, where the 19-year-old worked. she was reported missing in late september when she didn't show up for work. her car was found in norfolk on september 23. then her body was found on september 29 in charlotte, behind the church, about 300 yards from brown's childhood home. her parents found out about the charges wednesday night, and this was their reaction. >> for us, it is the justice that we are seeking. just giving uss strength to believe in, trust the system. at one point in time, we didn't. the 45-year-old suspect is being held without bond. it convicted, he could face life without prison. adrianna: happening now, president trump is knee-deep in his asian trip. now he is changing h

over on i-95 southbound after coming off of the ramp at 234 in dumfries at 7:30 this morning. we are told that truck was hauling trash. a bacova was out here trying to clean up the mess. virginia state police and the vdot's incident management has been out here for hours. they say the driver lost control that is ok. traffic was at a standstill until crews were able to lift up the truck and clear away the trash and open up the left shoulder. >> the event is still under investigation but right now we believe speed is a factor. when the truck attempted to enter the rent to i-95, it lost control and overturned. been an easyot morning for drivers, and this crash remains under investigation. right now, we are getting you ready for the new tolls coming to 66 inside the beltway. today, official

adrianna: right now, an urgent search underway in tennessee for three escaped inmates. 28 ural matthew white, 32-year-old jeffrey strong, and 19-year-old dylan ferguson escape from the tennessee jail tuesday. authorities say they crawled through a hole by removing a speaker. they then crawled inside and use blankets to lower themselves into a maintenance room and kick the door open to escape. those men were in jail for charges involving violent crimes stemming from f2 homicide. are going to be here as long as it takes to get these inmates back in jail, where they belong, and protect our citizens of the community. adrianna: fbi officials confirmed dylan ferguson originally arrested on homicide charges have been added to the top 10

2500 dollars reward is now being offered for their capture. now to the sexual us on allegations against kevin spacey. police in massachusetts are investigating claims made by a former tv news anchor who said the actor assaulted her restaurant son in a last year. she claims they see bought her son alcohol and then reach into his pants after he was dropped. went to thecey then bathroom and another patron talk to her son and told him to run. she also slammed kevin spacey for his response to previous allegations. allegations,he spacey has been cut from a movie set that hit movie theaters next month. his character in the upcoming film "all the money in the world " is being replaced by christopher plummer. director ridley scott says he is reshooting the scenes but the movie is still on track to premiere december 22. next at

8 are counting down to veterans day and thanking our men and women in the military. eileen whelan was in springfield this morning talking about books on bases with blue star families. highlighting blue star families and their books on bases program. we are here at an elementary school in springfield. kids are reading. kathy is the founder of blue star families. for people that don't know what the organization is, tell us about it. blue star families is an organization that supports military families by telling the story of military life and connecting us to our communities , and to solutions that we need across the country. >> books on bases was one of the first programs that you initiated. talk about what it is. >> we started books on bases because

we found did not have books in the home. having those books is important for having a healthy life. now it has grown into a wonderful program. we do it across the country. we have given away more than 120,000 books to military kids through our partner disney. it's a great opportunity for volunteers to get to know the military and their community. come in, read to the kids, give them away. it is great engagement that people working with us at blue star families can do. eileen: there are over 25% of the kids here at this school are from military families. .ou also conduct research tell us about some of the newest surveys released, some of the findings. comes outual survey every year. it comes out next week. we are excited about it. we look more into military people's experience in their communities. military people move a lot.
