washington, at least not so far. many of them are saying if the allegations are true that he should step aside. abc's linsey davis with the details. >> reporter: explosive new claims that republican alabama senate candidate roy moore preyed on teen girls more than 30 years ago. >> i believe in the second amendment. >> reporter: moore who famously flashed his gun at a rally is a hard-line, conservative christian. >> homosexual conduct should be illegal. >> reporter: four women say they had romantic encounters with or propositions from moore when he was in his mid 30s and they were teenagers, including one who was just 14 years old in 1979. leigh corfman says she met him when he offered to watch her during her mother's custody hearing. she says he took her to his house on two occasion and on the second visit he took off her shirt and

clothes. he guided her hand to touch him over his underwear. she remembers thinking, i wanted it over with. i wanted out. she says she asked moore to take her home and he did. corpsfman's mother confirmed her daughter's account. moore calls the allegations by the post completely false and a desperate political attack, with his campaign adding it is no surprise that the democratic party and the country's most liberal newspaper would come up with a fabrication of this kind. moore was nicknamed the ten commandments judge after refusing to remove a ten commandments monument from his courthouse. >> sexual perversion sweep our land. >> reporter: outrage from fellow republicans. >> if there is any shred of truth to the allegations he needs to step aside. >> reporter: vice president pence saying he found the allegations in the story disturbing and if true would disqualify anyone

offing in office. even if moore decides not to run, his name would already be on the ballot. so a new gop candidate would have to be a write-in. linsey davis, abc news, new york. >> we do have this one footnote, the president is traveling in vietnam. sarah sanders releasing a statement saying if these allegations are true, judge moore will do the right thing and step aside. the white house initially saying like most americans, the president believes we cannot allow a mere allegation in this case, many, many years ago to destroy a person's life. >> and the overwhelming republican response has been, if the allegations are true he needs to step aside. but those already in the senate have approved some mandatory sexual harassment training. they passed a resolution requiring all members and their staffs to undergo the training right before leaving washington for the veterans' day holiday. >> they must submit papers stating that the training was

completed. and then there's this, the fallout against louie ck has been rampant. five female comedians and performers are accusing him of lewd conduct without their consent. the premiere of his new movie was canceled after the story broke. hbo has removed past projects from its on-demand services and canceled a performance. and president trump is at the apec sum et amit and expect deliver a major speech. there was some talk of a meeting with president putin u b, but t will be no meeting because of scheduling conflicts. he described their meetings on trade and north korea as productive. robert mueller's russia investigation is seeping further into the president's inner circle. steven miller h

and the president's long-time bodyguard revealed details about his boss's trip to moscow. he turned down an offer to send russian women to the president's hotel room. here's brian ross with the details. >> reporter: a former u.s. citien could, keith schiller was the bodyguard at trump's side for years. he hand-delivered the president's letter firing fbi director james comey. we are learning what schiller says he saw on a trip to moscow in 2013 for the ms. universe pageant. that trip to moscow figured prominently in the uncorroborated dossier, funded by the clinton campaign. congressional investigators say schiller told them a well-connected russian business men offered him five women for trump, but that he rejected the offer, believing it was a joke and he never told trump about it

trump himself has denied the salacious allegations, saying he knew there were cameras hidden in the rooms. >> i was in russia years ago with the ms. universe pageant. they did very, very well. and i told many people, be careful. because you don't want to see yourself on television. cameras all over the place. >> reporter: schiller told congress he stayed outside trump's hotel room for about five minutes that night and saw no one go inside. we've also learned the special counsel has now interviewed one of the president's inner circle, steven miller. his task in the white house was to help prepare a defense for trump in his firing of james comey, the fbi director, something of great interest to the special counsel, brian ross, abc news, new york. >> and dueling tax cut plans are setting up a fight on capitol hill. the senate committee

its version hours after the house released its. the senate version delays the corporate cut for a year. the senate version gets rid of personal deductions of state and local taxes. the white house is denying claims that both plans hurt the middle class and help the wealthy. >> i don't believe that we set out to create a tax cut for the wealthy. if someone's getting a tax cut, i'm not upset that they're getting a tax cut. >> republicans want both bills out of chambers by thanksgiving. senate rules may prevent them from meeting the self-imposed deadline. the goal is to reconcile the two versions before christmas. the season's first widespread deep freeze has many of us reaching for extra gear and blankets this morning. snow falling across the upper midwest is creating dangerous road conditions. emergency crews are responding to dozens of crashes like this one in fargo, north dakota involving ca

the temperatures are in the teens from t teens from the don'akotas to th great lakes. a new power outage has dealt a major blow to puerto rico. a high voltage transmission line failed, plunging about 80% of the island back into darkness. repairs are under way, and they hope to have about half of that outage restored later today. but fema says it plans to relocate thousands of puerto ricans still sleeping in shelters to new york and florida. officials in the sunshine state have declared a state of emergency to accommodate the new refugees which gives the state much-needed access to federal funding. >> another power outage, definitely not what they needed. >> so there's a very serious concern as president trump and other world leaders gather for the apex summit.

a suspect is dead and a woman in critical condition after police in providence, rhode island opened fire on an out of control pickup truck. witnesses say the truck rammed into other vehicles on i-95 before officers arrived. all this happened as police were searching for another man who stole a state police cruiser while handcuffed inside the car. that man is still on the loose. a louisiana college student claims he was hazed and kept awake three straight days before he was driving, while he was driving, and before he hit and kill killed another man. michael gallagher is suing the fraternity. the crash last november left a 23-year-old man dead, his mother filed a wrongful death suit

september. and first checks in the ponzi scheme have gone out. pension plans, charities as well as other entities. they've been waiting nine years to start getting their money back, but most will only recoup about 25% of what they lost. tennis star venus williams gave a deposition as part of a wrongful death lawsuit filed against her. she answered questions about a car crash last june that led to the death of a passenger in another vehicle. witnesses said venus ran a red light causing the crash. but after inspecting video, police say shes what t-- was no at fault. o.j. simpson is banned from an establishment for life. here's jim avila. >> reporter: o.j. simpson banned from a las vegas hotel. simpson spent several hours at a
