>> reporter: and moore says that nothing will force him out of this election less than a month away at this point. but we are also hearing from the chair of the republican sena senatorial committee and if he wins they should vote to expel him, he says. we're talking about an entirely new election if that happens. >> lana, thank you. also this morning a major development in the corruption trial of new jersey senator bob menendez. >> the jury says it's deadlocked on all 12 counts but the judge ordered jurors to come back and try again to reach a verdict. menendez is accused of accepting contribution, a hotel suite and use of a private jet for political favors. and senanorth rand paul is in washington. he suffered six broken ribs but he's not elaborating on a motive other than to say he has not spoken to his neighbor in years. other neighbors say the two were feuding over leaves and

clippings. turning to that new twist in the russia investigation, messages sent in private between donald trump jr. and wikileaks have now been revealed. in some cases they appear to show the trump campaign complying with wikileaks' request. around the same time the site released private e-mails from the clinton camp. in the final stages of the presidential election, donald trump's son and wikileaks secretly corresponded. overnight trump junior releasing those messages tweeting here's the entire chain of messages with wikileaks with my whopping three responses which one of the congressional committees has chosen to selectively leak. how ironic. trump junior acknowledged the communications after the "atlantic" reported they're now in the hands of congressional investigators. wikileaks published thousands of democratic party e-mails about hillary clinton. u.s. intelligence says they were stolen by russia hackers. president trump's own cia director said this about the group. >> it's tim

relief workers are struggling to reach some of the hardest hit areas digging through rubbles in hopes of finding survivors. temperatures dropped below zero. back in this country thousands of people are without power as a fierce storm hits the northwest. that sttops our look at your tuesday weather. well, the latest radar shows the powerful storm system moving through the pacific northwest slamming western weighing rat this hour. at least one person has been killed and five others injured as winds up to 70 miles an hour toppled trees and downed mauer lines leaving more than 175,000 customers in the dark. also this morning, new video showing a bumpy ride inside this plane. it took the pilot three attempts to land at seattle airport in the heavy winds. the bathroom door flew open and people were crying. no injuries.

fatal shooting in prince georges county. investigators say responding police officers found the man dead on the sidewalk last night at the hilltop apartments in new carrollton. neighbors say they heard a lot of commotion after the shooting. and police say someone reported that people were running from the scene following the shooting. a suspect description has not been provided and the victim's name has not been released. in northwest-- two people now facing criminal charges this morning, accused of attacking workers inside a restaurant. police say it started as a dispute over the food bill at the "la morenita latin restaurant". investigators say the customer, 19-year-old lidia ventura, jumped over the counter and punched a waitress. then she called in a man to help, and the pair tried to kick through the bathroom door to reach the terrified employees who had locked themselves inside. thats when police arrived, and booked both customers for assault. incredible

a mother- seeing her child for the first time- after the little girl was taken in a carjacking! this happened in baltimore. the mother says she was unloading the car when someone came up, jumped in and took off - with her 1-year-old still inside. after a frantic search - she found her own car at an apartment complex nearby. the child - still inside - wasn't hurt. whoever tried to steal the car - is still out there. happening today, a driver charged in a crash in leesburg that killed a mother of three will make his first court appearance. in september, tony steven dane was driving a bus converted into a food truck when he ran a stop sign. he struck a car carrying erin kaplan, her three children, and her mother. kaplan died at the scene. her oldest son, a high school senior, is recovering in a rehab center. dane told police, his brakes failed. he faces several charges, including involuntary manslaughter. taylor swift's new album is on track to break sales records this week. and now-- news comes that she is taking her show on the road, with a
