in northeast washington in the 7:00 hour. two scenes are being investigated, one in the 4200 block of east capital, and the second one here, now cleared. this was they seem a little while ago as authorities responded to a mercedes-benz on the on ramp to northbound 290 five. they say initially there were reports of shots fired in the 4200 block of east capitol street. also, there was a report of this mercedes that was here on this on-ramp. they are not sure at this point what role this mercedes played in the circumstance. authorities say the person in the mercedes went to a local hospital for treatment. his condition is unknown right now. police still trying to figure out what happened at the crime scenes. in northeast washington, suzanne kennedy, abc 7. adrianna: one man is dead after a mobile home in charles county burst into flames. ryan hughes has more on the investigatn

drawing a major response from firefighters and the charles county sharps department. that fire happening down this longer road, about 150 to 175 yards off the street. we are told this is a large farm with several different animals and homes in the front of the property, and mobile homes in the back of the property. that is where the fire started. gottrack 7 over the scene the call around 5:30 this morning. this is in the 1700 block of marshall hall road. the crews arrived. the mobile home was fully involved and completely engulfed by flames. firefighters made an aggressive attack, and they were soon able to get in through the front door. that is when they pulled a man out of the home. unfortunately, he did not survive and was pronounced dead on scene. we are told a dog was also killed in this fire. fire, ase home caught

no other injuries are reported out here. right now, the state fire marshal is working to determine what exactly caused this fire, and the major crimes unit is also on scene. right now, the name of that victim has not been released. in charles county, ryan hughes, abc 7 news. adrianna: new developments from prince george's county. filed againstuit the beyonce caraway, the school board, and the principle of an elementary school. of one ofed on behalf the caraway victims, nine years old at the time, and called the school and unchecked breeding ground for sexual abuse by caraway. the suit claims the principal and school board were aware of the inappropriate behavior, but no meaningful investigation or action was taken. and right now, new details surfacing about the gunman in the deadly shooting spree in northern california. the gunman of tempted get into an elementary school.

victims and the investigation into a motive. authorities are saying kevin neal is the man responsible for a deadly shooting spree in northern california. the individual, the shooter, was spent on engaging and killing people at random. maggie: or more than 45 minutes, the man shot at people with no rhyme or reason, across seven locations in town. at violent spree starting 7:52 a.m., when he shot someone in a home. the gunman drove, still shooting, to the local elementary school, where he fired at least 30 rounds. >> teachers came running out around the building. they said, there is a shooter coming. maggie: 15-year-old was shot and is expected to be ok. the plan was to get inside and kill as many students as possible, that it was sorted by a quick thinking principal who put the school into immediate lockdown. the gunman left and continued shooting arod

we now know that five volunteer firefighters here at the strasburg fire department are being investigated over allegations that a 17-year-old girl was raped, a gang rape that authorities say was recorded and then shared on the popular app snapchat. according to court records, the alleged crime occurred back in the spring. the teenager allegedly highly intoxicated, was taken to three different locations -- the firehouse, a home of one of the man, and a hotel. it was the mayor in town who raised red flags after receiving several reports from concerned citizens. >> very surprising. cannot say anything until the state police investigation concludes, and that is where we are. i have met them peripherally through work i do here, but i am not really involved in the social circles of the volunteer fire department. john: as of this afternoon, no one has been arrested. no charges have been filed.
