>> abc 7 news at 11:00 starts with breaking news. jonathan: breaking news in fairfax county, a massive scene after a car crash and officer-involved shooting. alison: this may have started with a police chase. tom roussey has the latest from alexandria. tom, what's going on there? tom: still a very active scene. this involved u.s. park police and fairfax county police. the police cars are blocking the vehicle that crashed. this is video we took when they were not blocking it. it is almost on its side with the doors open. i'm told this started on the gw parkway which the u.s. park police patrol. they have not said what this guy was wanted for, but they wanted him bad enough that they chased him

of fairfax county. that is when the vehicle wrecked. neighbors described hearing more than one shot, a few shots in the neighborhood. one neighbors said this is usually a quiet place on a friday night, so he was surprised when the chopper flew over his home. >> the next thing you know, we heard a loud boom. we were not clear if it was a gunshot or car wreck. still do not know at this point. fromhere is a live view the sky right now of the scene. this was a chase by u.s. park police and fairfax county police involved. we are waiting on information on what this person was wanted for. we know the person in the vehicle was shot by the police. we are waiting on word of his condition and what he was wanted for. the police have promised

tim: investigators do not have a lot to go on. all they know is the kids saw a man in a gray car, but they don't know what kind of car it is. the story of the man cruising the streets exposing himself to kids is turning stomachs. >> he's sick. tim: police say that a man in a gray car exposed himself to a boy and girl from the middle school. the first case happen november 9 when the girl was walking home near this house. >> a lot of children walking the street. tim: the second case was parkwayy along 23rd when the boy was walking to school. investigators and school officials say they just found out about the crimes this week. >> i'm at a loss for words. that's crazy. tim: investigators

are increasing patrols in the area around the school. live in princesses county, tim barber, abc 7 news. jonathan: a final chapter in a horrible murder case. a man who pled guilty to killing a d.c. yoga instructor will spend the next 30 years in prison. duane johnson abducted tricia mccauley christmas day. the police say she was raped and tortured before she was killed. reward for any information into the murder of baltimore police detective sean suiter continues to climb, now standing at $210,000. suiter will shot in the head wednesday night investigating a murder case. he died of his injuries yesterday. nancy: tracking the latest on a massive fire in manhattan, burning through a six story building. five people were treated for injuries including four firefighters. more than 250 firefighters battling the intensela

some bizarre developments, talking about a federal raid at an antique shop in middleburg. wildlife officers descended on the shop called the outpost. they loaded several items into a box and truck. their website says they are filled with antique and exotic artifacts from around the world, including animal hides. are wonderful people, great tastes, very generous. service: wildlife officials did not respond where request for comment. alison: a search for answers after gunfire hit a church in gaithersburg.
